The best way to enjoy instant noodles is to add some vegetables, eggs, maybe some 'spam' (i just know the brand, don't know what it is called lol), and some cheese. :P

Technically it's saturated palm oil, yeah, which is a waxy solid at room temperature. Esterified compounds of it are used to make candles. But you can easily see it float off the noodles when you boil them. If you want to get rid of it, add boiling water to the noodles, let them sit for a  while, decant, add sachets, and add more boiling water.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

But you don't eat ****.

I read somewhere that it causes throat cancer. .

Excellent rationalization! Bravo!

"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Wax isn't really a harmful substance though - why the aversion?

It's not going to harm you though.  We coat all sorts of foods in wax (cheeses in particular); it's pretty clearly food safe in these forms, there's no harm in ingesting a small amount.

Well,  considering the quantity of ramen I've ingested..  It's like I'm eating an entire birthday candle every 3-4 days..
