Uber eats prices,

How can people afford this on top of $1.50 per dumpling ..

Show Image

Delivery food prices are straight up out of control. Around where I live, it will cost you around $50 for a decent xl pizza delivery, fees included. Even the national chains with trash pizza, you are looking at around $30 for on lg pie.
In some cases I've seen delivery fees be nearly the same amount as the total on the food, example: $25 in delivery fees and taxes for a $40 meal.

Is this way truly better than the restaurants just having their own delivery service and drivers?

I could probably count on one hand the number of times I have had food delivered in my lifetime.

But if I was stuck at home without reasonable transportation it would be a different story. For some reason I like to do everything in person, especially voting.
How the hell or why did you become a DEMO-crat?” He asked.
“Long story, but it started with Nixon, then I was educated and know history as the Republicans are all about getting power to exploit it to their benefit, while Democratic politicians, for the most part, are for distributing things more equitably. I’ll finish with the overwhelming sociological and psychological evidence in studies that identify that conservatives see the world through inherent inequity where the elite or those who seek to be elite are superior to the commoners, and it is they who should lead. At the same time, liberals look at the world as inequality and seek to make the world more equitable, and that all should be represented. Ultimately, conservatives trust those in authority, while liberals inherently distrust those in authority to take advantage for themselves or their constituency.”
He looks up and says, “No one ever explained that to me, and then asks, “If **** Cheney thinks that Trump is that bad, then it's not about DEMO-crats vs Republicans, is it.”
I resume walking and then say, “Hey, you got it; it's the Democratic and old Republican parties versus Trumpism, which is American fascism aided by the Russians.”

Currently I regulate food delivery to 1-2x a month. I'll build it up too, daydream about Mexican food or pizza or something for weeks, which makes it so much more tasty and rewarding. Plus, ordering food is terrible for your health, since it is much more difficult to realize the amount of calories you are intaking when you order.
My roommate orders food like 3x a week, which is crazy to me.

Drone strikes near Zaporizhzhia.

I guess people just don't understand,  Zaporizhzhia is at least 20-30x Chernobyl worth of radiation. If they smoke this place.  THE ENTIRE EUROPE will be a nuclear waste dump.

WE DO NOT have the Technology to clean up nuclear diffusion of that magnitude.  You just live in it.  Lot's of still births, dead babies, thyroid cancers, leukemia-s and such.

Remember, Chernobyl + Fukushima are still ongoing events, they are not spoken of much, but we are not remotely close to cleaning up the situation.

I've been fatigued and brain fogged for neigh on 15 years now, with consistent searing pain for the last 7, and you know what I do every day of my life I feel like I've a crushing hangover, can't produce a thought, and keep falling asleep? I do the same **** I do when I feel normal.  People just want an excuse not to work and be lazy. I hate calling sick people 'heroes' and acting like they are total invalids, when they are just as capable as everyone else. People lead these precious lives, then when they have a long-term hindrance that is askew from their normal they can't ****ing deal with life. Guess what? THAT IS YOUR NEW NORMAL, learn to adapt and deal with it. Stop acting like a victim.

Concord, seriously, who ok-ed the art direction on that game. The characters look awful.

All they'd have to do is redo the characters, and it actually looks like a pretty decent game. Pacing looks fun.

I know. The desk is for my son for his room. I often dwell too much on the unimportant details, but I know I can do better, so I am disappointed to myself, but yeah microscopic problems for the first world indeed.

 listen to music

There are many kinds of music. Much (most?) of it demands your attention - sometimes to listen to and contemplate the words, and sometimes to listen closely to and appreciate the intricacies of the structure and changing relationships of the instruments playing.

But there is music that is specifically created to not require your attention, and it is not always tinkling yoga studio stuff.
How the hell or why did you become a DEMO-crat?” He asked.

At very low volumes, it seems possible, but at normal listen volumes, Tp4 can't concentrate on reading at all.

I agree, of course. When I spend the time and concentration on something to read, I want comfort and silence so that I am not distracted and can absorb it all.

I listen to instrumental music. Lyrics obviously don't work.

I've met programmers who preferred to work to Beethoven. I used to like music with some BPM when coding.

Now I don't do that much programming. I feel that I have lost the edge and the will. (and that is a thing that bothers me)

I almost exclusively listen to instrumental or foreign music I don't speak the language for, so it just makes some pleasant background noise.
90% of the time music with lyrics or singing annoys me. I tend to focus on the songwriting, and you'd be shocked how lazy and bad most songs with lyrics are written if you actually listen and analyze them. So lazy. So bad.
I do have a soft spot for '90s alt/grunge and early '00s rap though

How did they even find that guy. Seems like the easiest thing ever to get away with.

Forest Arson is quite detrimental,  Imagine a whole city goes Solar,  well, a single forest fire would offset the carbon saving for 5-10+ years.

That is not about attracting the woman. It is a "display" mostly for the benefit of his companions.

Amplifier problem.

Not enuff power, it can push music fine at high db, but during calibration, because of the sustained sin peaks, it goes into overload.

Juice it with external capacitor bank?

Guv'ment cancelled my unemployment, and says I need to pay them back thousands

Meanwhile I am literally relying on that money just to make it through each week and be able to afford food while I search for a job. Not even enough to cover my full rent as well.

Life never ceases to fail me when I need help most. Is this it? Will this be the final time I'm unable to make things right, just to barely get by?

Find out in about 3 weeks, when I'm either homeless and stop posting here for a while, or my life once again gets a magic temporary bandaid at the very last moment.

Ya know what I am most sick of in my life? Thinking things cannot possibly become worse, that all I need to do is work hard and make things right, and then somehow things do in fact get much worse. My life really is a big ****ing joke. I hope someone's laughing.

They can charge you back for unemployment?

Also, NT, you might be renting in a too spensive neighborhood. Move out further away, and most jobs can sustain rent better.

Guv'ment cancelled my unemployment, and says I need to pay them back thousands

Meanwhile I am literally relying on that money just to make it through each week and be able to afford food while I search for a job. Not even enough to cover my full rent as well.

Tp4 has quit Oreos,  but then Costco had the Biscoff (also vegan) cookies (gram crackers texture).

And the Tp4 just ate a whole pack for breakfast.  If anything it's sweeter and just as if-not-more addicting.

German woman dies, attacked by sharks.

Tp4 analysis.

Mistakes:

1,  She went outside
2,  She went into the water
3,  She is human, a terrestrial animal
4,  Human beings are the enemy of the ocean, 99% of all sharks have been killed by humans.
5,  The vast majority of Sharks are killed as by-catch, the act of fishing itself, necessarily kills sharks.

STOP EATING FISH..  problem solved

Fish is extremely high in bio-accumulated ocean contaminants.
Farmed fish is even worse,  they take by-catch grind it up, feed farmed fish.

Net, 5 fishes are killed per every 1 fish eaten.

3 Trillion fish are killed per year.  3,000,000,000,000

That is 3,000 x 1 billion fish

Human should be outside more. Humans were not designed to sit for 15 hours a day. Daily movement and sleep are not optional for humans to function properly. We are so far removed from the fact we are wild animals, not caged farm animals that we celebrate going outside as if it's something we should be proud of. Outside good. Vitamin D good.

Agree with most points.

Alternative climate friendly take.

Stay indoors, use standing desk or treadmill desk, open the window.  You can vitamin d on the backyard deck or front porch.  BUT Excursions should not exceed 30 meters of house walls, except Costco.

- Leave the sharks alone.
