i can't play fps games anymore.  i get a terrible headache that lasts for hours even after just a few mins of play.  i love fps games too.  and i want to play minecraft, dammit.

I'm getting there myself... I'm still desperately trying to hold onto something that was such a major part of my teens and early twenties, but it is slowly getting harder and harder.  I find a total lack of interest with most new games and games that I still like to play online frustrate me to no end because I suck so much.  I remember planning my next pc build, but now I doubt I'll ever build it :/

so that's 300 days so I'll have enough cards to fight the top tier people..

If I leave a low power PC on that's 60watts with the bot and game running.. 24/7.. 300 days..

$1.29 a day @ 18cents/kilowatt... $389 for 300 days of botting.. OR pay $350 to buy the cards

You're on the right track, you need a low power consumption PC. Don't you own like 50 factories in China? Just use one of their servers? :)

I tried retro,  it's hard because they're fun for like 30 minutes,  then you extrapolate the time cost to continued play, and the rewards.. Then it turns into an adult moment, and you wake up from the fantasy that you could afford to be so carefree..

Well, that's my experience anyway. You may have better luck.

There are definitely some retro games that are difficult to get into. I personally was never good at 2D fighters and shooters, and still am not. I give them a whirl, but find myself rage-quitting after twenty minutes.
Racing, platformers, and RPGs were and still are my jam. I love the brawlers, too, but they don't make them anymore. Definitely a genre of the past.
