Can't get over how gud' it looks..  They definitely rendered this in 4K, almost no aliasing.

Glad to hear we are finally getting a Season 2, this show was hilarious and yes 1st season was slow but was still enjoyable.

Architecturally completely unsound. Layout makes no sense half the time. No machicolations despite the overhanging battlements (which don’t seem to be quite high enough, might be perspective however). No flanking towers on either side of the gatehouse. Also missed opportunity on not placing a second gatehouse on the other side of the bridge. Too few arrow slits. At least it appears to be (partially?) white washed.

I also highly doubt the structural integrity of that cliff, which appears to be made entirely of dirt, rather than solid rock.

If they would have removed that central tower as well as the smaller one on the left, I probably wouldn’t have even said anything. Small tower in the middle looks fine.

You're thinking Non-Magical universe castles.

in Magical universe castles, where gravity, material integrity can be arbitrarily enhanced, Castles can take any shape and have very few armaments yet still be highly defensive

I’ve rediscovered Sims 3 a few days ago, and have been spending some of the last two days trying to build a realistic brick-castle in that game. Maybe that’s why it’s annoying me. A lot of limitations in that game. No round walls. No arrow slits. No draw bridges! I definitely would have put a draw bridge in-between those two gatehouses.

Roofing is a nightmare in this game. The roofs are constantly clipping though the walls or parts of them are simply diapering. Couldn't solve that on some parts of the build if you look closely.

Are attack sharks known to scale dangerous cliff faces?

I don't think anything short of incredibly heavy weaponry can defend against that kind of attack shark.

This scenario was not part of my threat modeling.

I am most certainly doomed.
