who's the old man?
if you mean the guy with a beard, it's mr hoffman (in the left). if you mean the older guy, it's jdcarpe (behind the wheel).
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

In celebration of a successful t-shirt GB (and my first group buy!), here's a selfie in my Keycon Geekhack "SSK" logo T-shirt.

Wtf I didn't even know you had that going. I'm so not an active member anymore -_-". Congrats on a successful GB, sai lo! Looking good too :)

Sorry bror, there will be other buys later if you're interested but I only have one leftover right now. Thanks, I haven't shipped them yet but they'll be going out soon. The next hurdle in this GB, but the easiest one I think :D.

"young at heart" is one of the cruellest things you can say to an old person
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

What kind of "dude" is that sensitive about his age, and would've considered my comment hurtful..

Maybe a woman...

No I do not see JD in that light.. So NO, I was NOT taking his "emotions" into account when I said young-at-heart..

And -swill-, you're taking a swing at me for what?  Because I said that the possibility exists that Parents regret their decision to have kids.

It's not like I said, your kids were a mistake..

My comment on the matter was completely non-directed..

About a year of growth on the mustache, and about 3-4 months on the beard.

:thumb:  NICE.  You remind me a lot of a friend of mine.  In all the best ways.  Photos of him below, in 'more' tags to maybe help to keep his identity a little private.
Also, maybe NSFW??

He would also sometimes grow a beard, so it's slightly more relevant.

And I have another fun one I'm saving for a rainy day (ignore the fact that it's raining outside where I am).

The wax is for special occasions, CPTBadAss (mainly because it can take a long time). But since I like y'all, I'll deliver some waxed 'stache pix. :-*

Is it about to get sessy in here??

Oohhhh laaaawwwwd. How did you know the 'stache has that sort of power? For now, here is a teaser from when I first started growing it out:

Nice beard Hoffbro! It's looking LUSH in there. ;)

My hair would look very similar to your friends if I didn't keep it tame for work. He looks like a good bromanbro! :D

That, beard, is, 300% majestic. 3000% even. Wow. Any idea how long that took? Wow. Just, wow.

I'll dig up some older waxed pics for now. It's been a while since I have done so. I think it's going to be a great feat trying to wax it at this length. I'll probably end up with some dali-esque pointy suckers. We'll see!

I don't have very many recent ones, but here are a couple of me and my little man this winter.

His mom was at school this winter, so we walked the halls a lot.

18 months.  She is a major handful.  Tonight Matthew (our 5 year old son) went to bed early so when it was time for Autumn to go to bed she decided to use the drawer under his bed as a step stool and climb up on his bed and start smacking him in the face to wake him up.  All he did was take a random swipe across his face and rolled over.
