Dark Phoenix, Y'all see this yet ? [Spoiler Alert]

The Xmen Franchise in general seems to save the world too many times and resolve the mutant prejudice issue identically in every movie.

At the beginning of each new iteration, surprise, everything we did in the last movie didn't work, some how for some reason, lets do it all over again. This leaves the audience without a clear objective.

Specific to Dark Phoenix, in general women audience older than 20, are biologically driven to h8(compete) other women who are either as attractive or more attractive than themselves.  They need an overwhelmingly heroic reason to support other women. The current Jane dark phoenix character does not possess enough sway for that kind of follow through.

Annnd, on the Male audience radar,  they dressed her in a trench coat almost the whole movie, well, the straight forward male mind certainly has little inclination to shell out for trench coat phoenix.

Also, this is a small issue, but Sophie Turner might be just a little too-thicc to portray a marvel-heroine role.  Her thicc upper arm really stuck out throughout the movie.  Tp4 personally prefrs Thicc , but by modern hollywood/ comic heroine standards, it's definitely out of place, perhaps that explains the trench-coat.  In comparison, gal gadot's wonder woman is much more suitably proportioned for a comic book role..

I haven't seen this yet and don't plan on seeing it.

Also first person movies should be brought back. That was a good idea.

I assume it suffers from the same problem the past couple of movies went through. Not a strong enough track record for me even to consider watching, however some co-workers have mentioned it's pretty good for what it is. I just personally can't shake the blanket bad reviews it seems to have received as well.

Similar with Dumbo,  these movies are wildly expensive yet has been largely ignored by the public.

One hesitates to say, well no duh, they don' haz Ironman..  Buh.... yea,  ironman makes any movie instantly better.

Dumbo vs Iron Man, or Dumbo in an Iron Man suit, I might actually pay for that

HRrrmmmm.. Of all the animals to mechanize, Elephant is probably most suited due to their high intelligence.

Would definitely be a supervillian; elephants are supposed to have long memories right? Incoming backstory about abuse at the hands of humans in the circus, then pull something from real life about how it's sibling escaped the tortures of the circus only to be gunned down by more humans trying to stop it's "supposed' rampage through the streets of NY.

Iron Tusk.. Greyhide..  The Rememberer haha

Watched it a second time..

Yea, it was worse than watching it the first time.

It certainly LOOKS like a 200 $Million dollar movie,  but Christ it's awful
