Just played a comp game... our team is owning it up like 12-4... STEAM LAG KICKS IN. EVERYONE has 400 ping... LASTS like 8 ROUNDS... we're CT... other team wins 8 straight games in a row because we couldn't even reach the house in time to save hostage because lag was so bad... my score is like 40-19 (was like 38-11 before lag)... we lose because other team wins by TIME default... **** you, Gabe Newell... Steam has no excuse.. they swim in money and they allow this bull****.
I've had a few of those games too. I assume it's some sort of DDoS though since it always happens to my team when we are winning.
We went from 6-0 to 6-16 in this game. This is from when I started playing btw (hence the rank), I'm currently Gold Nova 3.

I feel ya, mang. In our case, I believe it was just Steam because it seemed to be happening to everyone, including everyone on the other team, and supposedly the rest of Steam was like that too during that period of time. But that's pretty damn ****ty that someone would DDoS a game just to win, but not farfetched. Not crazy at all, in this game *sigh* I'd provide a screenshot but I totally forgot to take one for that game because I was so eager to leave. LOL! Maybe I can take a print screen from my score board for comp games, but I'd have to change my game resolution to native so my print screen doesn't come out as just a black screen. LOL! But if you had looked at the scores, it made no sense whatsoever that we lost... I mean, my score at the end was 40-19, and before the lag it was ~38-11ish. Highest score on the other team was 10-10. LOL...
I hope we get to play as a GH team again soon :) I miss playing as a team :(
