These Yopokki Snacks surprised me.

Good sweet/spicy savory snack perfect for when you are 3 beers deep

So are they like Takis or Bugles?
“The reason they call it the American Dream is because you have to be asleep to believe it.” - George Carlin

"Politicians have been proving Carlin right for decades. The GOP and the second Trump Administration seem bent on doing what they’ve always done, sometimes even turning the American Dream into the American Nightmare. Taxes are a major contributor, especially the billions upon billions that the rich and corporations don’t pay. Trump and his fellow Republicans are committed to keeping it that way — and, if their slim Congressional majorities can stick together, to do even more for those who need it the least. As one small example, the overall corporate tax rate could drop to 20%; domestic manufacturers could do even better, ending up with an effective corporate rate of 15%. The federal tax code is famous (and infamous) for its huge handouts to those with the highest incomes, the most egregious being the cap on Social Security taxes."

Heated a bowl of homemade chili and forgot, left sitting on the counter for like 40 minutes. Give it a stir and take a bite, nearly burned my tongue off.
Chili do be retaining heat

maybe science can use this information for humanity

I am often surprised at what does and does not retain heat - usually my expectations are accurate but not always.

Taro paste, a pudding like dish, which can retain extreme heat without any smoke/ visible out-gassing. Very dangerous substance on asian lunch tables.

Tried that Beetlejuice Fanta. Not a big fan of spiced apple, even less when it is cold spiced apple. At least it is not overtly spiced to the point of almost tasting like plastic, as so many spiced apple flavored foods tend to be.
It is utterly bizarre to me Fanta didn't go with banana flavor, which is the one fruit anyone would ever associate with Beetlejuice, and would've been a far tastier soda.

Dry breakfast cereal is a trap. Basically every single cereal in an American grocery store that is not on the all-natural shelf is like eating candy for breakfast. Honey Smacks have 56g of sugar in one bowl! Even some masquerading as healthier options are some of the worst offenders, like Raisin Bran Crunch, where it is the equivalent of eating a candy bar.
Is dry cereal a staple of breakfast in other countries other than US/Canada? Even if you compare a bowl of cereal to a pastry, the cereal eclipses pastries in sugar content dramatically.

If you feed high fat content to mice, they will get diabetes,   JUST LIKE HUMANS.

If you fed high fat content to Cats/ Dogs, straight fat, they will NEVER get diabetes, they will be fine, because they are true carnivores.

If you fed sugar to cats/ dogs, THEY WILL become diabetics, dogs tolerate it slightly better than cats.

If you FEED SUGAR to HUMANS, and reduce fat content to <10% of total calories, you can REVERSE_Diabetes (Type 2).

This is all well documented in official medical literature.

>> Walter Kempner
, who funded Duke university in its earliest days used the RICE diet to cure patients of diabetes

>> Nathan Pritikin
, another doctor did something similar, he even uses straight white sugar to CURE diabetes.

SUGAR is NOT the problem. It does NOT cause diabetes.

Diabetes is caused by America's extremely High fat intake.   Creating an INTOLERANCE to sugar. "Insulin insensitivity."

With/without it's still the same cereal. Milk makes it even worse health-wise, if anything.

Milk is full of pregnant cow hormones which give men m00bies, and tons of antibiotics.

It's extremely toxic.

Man, I really wish I could enjoy hot green tea. But every single time I drink green tea hot, it makes me violently nauseous :(
Cold green tea is fine, as is GT flavored stuff. This only ever happens with brewed hot GT unfortunately.

Recently into yeast-fermented coffee. I actually enjoy the slight tang and lighter roast, as I'm not a fan of dark roasts that aren't specifically espresso as it is.
Apparently fermented coffee has even more potential health benefits vs regular coffee, which already has some fantastic benefits with daily intake. The fermentation raises the B3 and inositol levels, while lowering levels of acrylamide and trigonelline. Tastes better, and is better for you. Literally no downside!
I love discovering stuff like that

Gotta do a Big Batch at a time,  if you wait until you want sweet potato, it's already too late.

They take an hour at least if you want that Thick-carmelized-floof-ness.

I assume that you are cutting them in half. Brush the exposed face a couple of times with butter (or oil) and that really helps too.
Time can be cut 30% in an air fryer.

Tp4 use dat' toaster oven. No oil, skin attached.  They lose about 6mm-15mm of radius after 1 hour, really thickens/creamifies the innards.

1Hr is 6 large-ish sweet potatos.

The skin gets a nice char on the inside, locking in smouki flavor and it slides right off, the inner potato remains soft, creamy.

Lately I really haven't been enjoying bananas when eating them on their own. At least I still like them in yogurt, oatmeal etc. when they're mashed or fried.

I've always found the teriyaki and katsu in Washington to be extremely good no matter where you go, and only recently found out Seattle is known for having amazing teriyaki. Every place is very similar to cooking style and taste, but then you realize none are bad or even just ok, they are all 8's 9's and 10's.

I will genuinely miss some of the food offerings when I finally get to escape this hell hole of a city.

but you won't

you'll live in Seattle forever :p
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I typed a long review on how great Renata frozen pizza was and something went wrong posting it. Not doing that again.
Just trust: This is the best frozen pizza I've ever had, try it if you spot it in the grocery store.
