I went to clean out my CST tracball and I lubed the bearings with Krytox. So smooth
I've seen this stuff before.  Does it gunk up over time or stop up fine lines/pores?

Depends on the ball you use and how clean your hands are. Some balls really gunk up bearings and others don't, but if you really want a smooth trackball you should just clean the bearings regularly.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

I use the Logitech and I have to wipe the three bearings about every 3 months or so.  Cleaning the ball maybe once every 2 yrs or so.  I was just wondering because a faster 'glide' would be nice

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Delicious. Ha seriously, it's got all these different influences from native to Spanish to Chinese so it's kinda all over. Lots of seafood and meat.

It makes me happy when my best female friend is throwing hints about us two getting in bed together, like she did today. I think it is a good way to make our friendship go deeper.

At the same time it seems to me there is absolutely no potential for any kind of serious, dedicated relationship between us, and that makes me even happier.

Ran into a chubby redhead I went to high school with, he's swole af now. Dude looks like Disney's Hercules. It feels like it's only been a couple of years - meanwhile I'm even more of a skinny prick than before. I gotta start going to the gym and eating right

Edit: I'm really happy for him, he's one of those people you talk to and you know right off the bat he's a genuinely good guy. And his personality hasn't changed a bit.
