There's a few KBBQ restaurants around here. I've never had balgi, but it looks really similar to Bulgogi (불고기). Is it the same Zenuty? If not, what's the difference? The soy sauce?

Bulgogi is flap meat.

Galbi is near the rib/muscles.

Higher quality cut of meat.

Ah, thanks for the explanation. Will try out Galbi in the future!

Another question I've always wondered was, why are Korean chopsticks flat? There are some that are rounded, but I've seen a couple friends/restaurants use flat ones.

And I use to my canon powershot camera in home.

My Canon powershot is very old model.

What is a good Korean traditional food to try? I have a few Korean food places nearby, though many just sell generic desserts, teas with tapioca balls (bubble tea) etc. Also something vegetarian would be great, as my OH does not eat meat.

If they make good kimchi go for Kimchi jjigae
especially if they have good tofu, you can ask for vegeterian one I guess which they would usually remove the pork meat

man I love that soup especially for hangover cure

I was talking to a corean person the other day, and he was upset when the subject came to kimchi, as to him it's a symbol of poverty and not the glamorous foodie-adopted cult phenomenon...

In Australia we have KFC, and also Red Rooster.

I prefer Red Rooster - it seems healthier, less greasy anyway
