SciFi- Lexx
« on: Sat, 29 December 2012, 09:50:54 »
First off...
Eva Habermann season 1/2 Xev character  is HOTTER than   Xenia Seeberg season 2+, same Xev character, first one died

Second, the CREW is Freakin''' retarded.. They always take the whole party onto the planet putting everyone in danger... They gotta leave people on the ship.... jesus.... >:D >:D >:D >:D

Oh, I'm also pretty sure both actresses had Rhinoplasty done, so lets not argue who looks more "plastic"

Eva

Xenia

Just got the DVDs. Disappointed with the quality, but I expected that from the amazon reviews. sigh...

I preferred Xenia. She looked "dirtier" somehow, like she could have genuinely been a German pornstar before landing the Lexx gig.

Yea, Xenia looks WAY WAY dirtier... cuz of those injected lips.  And somewhere between season 3 and 4, she got them done even "bigger"

I also didn't know she was German.

Lexx is one of those shows that's so bad it's good, a clueless crew that survive in spite of themselves, a ship that gets hungry and decides it's going to land and eat, enemies that are ruthless, numerous and bonkers (poet man was always a personal favourite), and a farcical love story filled with (for the time) risqué themes.  What's not to love...

So much of the acting was dubious at best (especially on the part of Eva who was only there for two reasons), whilst the CG was very good (again for the time) the set, physical props, and (most of) the costumes left a lot to be desired.  However, overall I find it great fun - mad as a trouser full of ferrets - but great fun.

The stupidity of the crew is the only part of the show I resent.. All of the other scifi stuff, I like.

Oh I know, their complete inability to learn from one episode to the next is utterly absurd.  But I can get over it so many shows are full of such problems - how many red shirted goons got wasted over the course of startreck?
