The Tron predates the Ergodox, not a valid example.

Ergodox is a concept..  To evolve beyond the single-rectangle..

Topre key-switches and the Ergodox are not in conflict.

However,  the Generic Topre rectangles ARE obsolete..

The choice of switches is a preference..

The Geek can NOT prefer the obsolete single rectangle which causes RSI in The Computer Obsessed.

And I'd dress up as the Right side of the Ergodox.

If I show ladies my HHKB and my fountain pen, what percentage will totally lust after me? 80%?

I flip my spacebar, so that easily ups that percentage to 90%, right?  :-*

I've only ever impressed a lady with my computer gear ONCE .

It was a project during income inequality, where the teacher gave very vague instructions..

I was the only person with the computer knowledge to complete the task..

Only 2 people completed the project.. That other person didn't know how to install software.

In terms of a man's possessions that impresses most women, a HHKB and a fountain pen are far, very far down the list.  I would say about .002% of women will lust after those items.  Now if you have some items that display your thick wallet, adventurousness, or ability to be a provider, perhaps they will be more impressed.

With those points in mind, I recommend purchasing a Swiss mechanical watch, a grappling hook, and tractor to impress the ladies.

Gah, you're absolutely right.  I should say an item that displays your ability to take out a large loan and pay it off in monthly increments, therefore masking the true amount of your wealth.

Answer number 1) you're too young to have that many girlfriends so please be careful who you show your hhkb and pen too.

Answer number 2) ignore answer number 1, girls hate a flip flopper.

tswiftfan, if I had pop lock and dropped it during the DJ sesh at Keycon, would I have gotten more ladies?

I forgot to answer this question. I don't know what "pop lock and dropped it" means. I assume it is another term for twerking. In that case, yes, the few females in attendance would have abandoned their partners and instantly attached to you. Opportunity lost.
