I know its obvious that winning is much better than losing  when the system gives you your rank, but don't take your losses too bad. Your in-game stats are really important too; if you truly do lose because others on your team didn't push the payload to get 3x, but you were on it, it will reflect in your ranking. People have queued in groups and got different ranks, so anything is possible. Don't sweat it breh

See, then I just played a match where someone on my team quit first round, 5v6 we still rekt them over the next two rounds

that was exactly my experience too. went 6-4, half of the games with 65-70 rank friends, and the other half solo q

individually i thought i did pretty well considering i was getting gold medals among 65-70s, and consistent 4 gold medals in solo q, i stick got a terrible rank

all good though, as i'm enjoying ranked more than quick play anyway because people tend to try a bit harder than in quick play

I tried out Battleborn but it wasn't my thing.

Gearbox has dropped too many piles of **** to be trusted anymore. Duke, BL:TPS (The Pile of ****?), all the expacs for BL2 basically.

I'll skip Battleborn. Won't even be a Steam sale item for me.

Finally finished my placement. Went 5-5. Ended up at rank 48. Sounds about right.

I placed 53, and got bumped to 54 on the first day. Played today and have just been dropped with every loss to 49. This is fun.

edit- 42% of team's damage, gold in all offensive categories. Lose in sudden death, down to 48. lol.

No I think I'm gonna uninstall. Maybe I'll revisit the game at a later date but I'm not really having fun with it anymore, whether I play quick play/competitive, with/without friends... team games aren't for me~

If you aren't in a near/full team, it's no better.

I don't mind solo queue in competitive. People still at least know/try to group up. Went back and played some quickplay last night to try some lesser used chars, and it reminded me of the chaos.

Soldier 76 is so boring to me. Maybe I'm just bad at him.

I've played 76 some and I agree, his skillset just feels so bland.

Yea there are still players..  but what's missing is that " fervor"..  where everyone is very driven to get better and be competitive..

Now it's just very casual paced..

Whereas larger games with larger populations continue to have that forward drive..

Well ****.

I find this picture really interesting, Blizzard's Brazillian division accidentally let slip what look to be some major hints about the new Hero coming up(Phara's mother, Ana Amari.) What I'm still a little unsure of is if her and Sombra are indeed the same person.




There was also this screenshot captured a while back ] That seems to show some kind of sniper figure in the support section of hero selection, and since all the heroes are listed alphabetically within their section, I think it's safe to assume it might be A. Amarie, and if Sombra was an alias like(like Solider 76/Jack Morrison) Why wouldn't Blizzard use it? I'm really excited to see who they reveal nonetheless, I love how they have easter eggs planted all around various maps like Dorado.

I didn't know these characters had actual backstories and such. I suppose Blizz would put some kind of "lore" into anything they put out.
