Watching 12 monkeys scifi show..


It's nice to know, that in our dystopian future.. female marauders still have ample supplies of eye liner, eye shadow, and mascara. There seems to be a persistence of the cultural importance of looking slutty even as they live a life of a murderous scavenger..

yea,  way too heavy for the scenery..

How many of the these post apocalypse shows are guilty of this? Revolution was pretty bad for having most of the characters looking like they just stepped off a magazine photo shoot. More recently: The 100. There's probably some inverse relationship between how good the show is vs how good looking the actors are...

I thought the 100 was indeed pretty crummy..

What really grinds my gearz..   is how explosions in small contained spaces like in a bunker or underground are never accurate in these tv-shows..


I'm glad all these characters are Alive,   but if you're gonna script this stuff,  a little attention to detail wouldn't hurt..

I confess that particular drivel was a guilty pleasure for a while, but I did get bored of the repetitive plot and bull**** they're pushing.
