Harvested the peaches from the back yard.

Way too many to eat in time (still loads left on the tree), so haz made peach jam.

Jam finished about 30 minutes ago

Prettttty much lost control and ate around 2 pints worth just now.

Still got a gallon and a half.

Nope just spooned it directly into my mouth like a piggy.

I could've sworn it felt like I was doing drugs..

So, it's been a few hours now—how are you doing? If nothing else, you must've gotten quite a sugar high from all that. Were you finding you could type really, really fast?

So a basic jam sandwich is 2 slices of bread + JAM

that's ~ 150 bread calories + (however much) JAM.

150 Calories worth of cooked rice is ~ 3/4 cup..

So you just use that ratio..

0.75 cup of rice PER sandwich worth of Jam..

1.5 cup of rice PER 2x sandwich worth of Jam..

Noodles, you would probably have to modify the Jam with some salt to become --savory--..

Because typically most noodles are already somewhat salted, or have a little grease to them, which may clash with the very sweet jam.

Think, over did it..

Ate more Jam today, another pint or so..... now Tp4 haz a sore throat..

Must be too much of whatever chemical from the peaches.. or maybe fructose toxicity..

So, writn' down in my journal is,

---- 3 pints of jam in 2 days is too much jam..

Fat consumption (daily > 22g) --> insulin resistant muscles --> High blood sugar
--> fatty liver --> Insulin resistant liver --> Even Higher blood sugar

This is primarily brought upon by modern culinary (habits), lots of oil, lots of animal products.

I actually felt kind of dizzy all afternoon..

Then I ate m0ar jam.. and instantly felt better...

Jam was always an expensive jar in the fridge that I've eaten little of..

But now, I got gallons of the stuff.. only to now realize, one can't drink it like water...

I read a book called Jam. A flood of stawberry preserves fills an australian city and immediately and violently converts any organic matter it touches into more jam, and seems to have a subtle local "magnetic" pull towards nearby organic matter. It's not a great book, lots of unsatisfying and weird things, but I am reminded of it now that you are suffering at the hands of copious jam.

I bet it took inspiration from The Blob.
