Losing is actually the primary cause of gambling addiction.. More so than Winning.. (because on average, you lose far more than you win if you CONTINUE gambling)


It puts your brain into PERIL mode.. where it perceives the current circumstance as Threatening..     THEREFORE  it is more likely to release greater amounts of stress hormones regarding all of your immediate and future stimuli..

It's not just things like a big test..  For example, you will be more stressed even for something small such as you not having a spoon for your yogurt..

Good question..  The difference is, there's gambling in the sense against nature... then there's gambling against --- THE HOUSE ---..

When you deal with a gaming institution be it a brokerage/forex site/casino/online gaming..  The house always wins.. they are designed that way.. otherwise they wouldn't exist..
