Vortex Vibe USB Connectivity Issue

Hey everyone,

I was referred here because of an issue I have with my board. I bough it off someone on r/mk and now I have to angle the usb upwards for the board to register connection.

I have also attached pictures that I sent to mechanicalkeyboards.com service dept and they sent me here for local help. I am in Miami FL and have reached out to numerous electronic repair shops and they all said this isn't their forte. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of repair.

Check if the cable works in other devices

If it's not the cable then the usb port pins or pcb board traces are cracked, so the contact is intermittent.

either way, you gotta open it up. to know for sure.

Yeah, the cable is fine and I tried the original cable on it and it's the same issue.

At the time I don't have the tools/knowhow to open it up myself, that is why I have been trying to find a repair place.

Before you find a place, stop twisting the port , it will break further.
