People who are greedy and care more about cash then this community and hobby. Don't try and dress up your actions and motives man/woman up and lets call it what it is. GREED !!!! I might not agree with it but I might at least have a smidgen of respect for you then 
Edit: I mean lets face it this type of behavior is going to happen where ever there is a profit to be had! I view GH as my home though and I truly care about this hobby and the people I have met here. I know this sounds messed up but if you want to profiteer take that **** to eBay !!!
To be fair, people can do what they want with their stuff (including money and caps). I understand as to why you are upset, but still, this certainly isn't the first time nor the last this will happen.
Frankly, it wouldn't continue as much if people weren't so willing to drop a ton of cash on said caps. I mean, you and a lot of other people were willing to do so.
Even people who cried about the prices in the thread, immediately PM'd the buyer about buying the caps. This is just how the artisan game works anymore.
A free market operates on supply and demand.
As I have said before, demand is not people wanting something, it is people wanting to pay the market's price for something.
There are lots of things that I would want or buy if they were much cheaper, but if I can't afford it I can't get angry at the seller.
When I buy something with the intent of reselling it at a profit, I want to buy as low as possible and sell as high as possible. So does anyone else.
And last, there is considerable nuisance in selling, and not trivial amounts of time, money, and gasoline invested in advertising, communicating, packaging, posting, etc etc, besides the risk involved if something happens en route, completely beyond the control of the seller, which ebay and others expect sellers to take full responsibility for.
