I always forget to tell you guys this, but I will actually be unavailable tomorrow evening and all subsequent Saturdays until further notice (don't worry, it shouldn't be too long).  I'm moving on Sunday so everything will be packed up (why I can't stream tomorrow), and then once I move in I may be busy with random things or not even have internet at the new place (why I might be unavailable for a couple weeks).

So anyway, I'll keep everyone updated, but for the immediate future I'm unable to stream.  Maybe someone can step up and take care of it in my absence?

Once it's more regular again a reminder notification on a phone is the other alternative.

Thats why the countdown timer is there. You can sync up to the stream using your own copy of the movie and just chat on the streaming site with us if you want.

It's been quite some time since there has been any action in this thread so I'm just writing this to let you all know that Hoff and I are working on getting Movie Night up and running again, hopefully soon.

As you know, Hoffmanmyster is our streamer and without him, movie night could never work. He has recently been very busy moving and is starting to get settled in now. He has a few tests to run with his Internet connection to see if he will have the horsepower to stream for us again. This will probably happen some time within the next few weeks. Until then, let's keep this thread alive and submit some movie picks or even just talk about your favorite movies!

There have been plenty of new members who have joined GH since the start of our hiatus and if you are looking for a way to be involved in the community and get to know other members, this is it! Please review the original post and send me your picks while we get things straightened out.

Thanks for the update. 

For anyone new who might be checking this out.  I stream a movie weekly and we watch the stream together, talking and commenting on the movie as we go in the stream chat.  So it's more than just "let's watch a movie at the same time, but separate", it is definitely a community thing.      I've had a blast being involved with these so far and getting to know more of you.

We'd love if we could get more people involved!  Most nights are active enough that the chat isn't dead, but the more the merrier!    Come check it out once we get up and running again.

Hey everyone!  My current internet upload speed is not phenomenal, so I've got to do some testing to make sure it'll work alright. (I was meaning to do this before, but simply didn't get a chance / forgot) 

Maybe I'll stream some Birdman tonight if anyone wants to join and we can decide if it's good enough.

It seems like the upload speed is perfectly fine!  I'm going to keep streaming for quite some time though, cause once I start watching Harvey Birdman I just can't stop.  xD

No luck, guys.    I've reset my password multiple times and it simply won't let me log in.  :|

I did some searching and the only answer from Livestream was that people affected by this should set up time to have Livestream personnel look into it (albeit that was from a support thread from 4 years ago  xD  ), so I don't think I will be able to log in tonight.

Sorry guys.  I'll try to get it figured out soon and hopefully we can be back next week?  Damn, I just don't understand!  I streamed a few days ago!

Eventually, when it was late in the night we watched Reservoir Dogs. I did have to follow the thread for a while and post that I was here, but eventually we got it running.
