It bothers me that I've just missed a great deal on a thinkpad that I wanted. It especially bothers me, because I recently got the exact same model but in top of the line configuration that I didn't need for three times the price.
lenovo lets you return laptops for like a month
Assumptions.

I'm not in the US.
It's been more than a month.
It wasn't directly from Lenovo.

Maybe I should just block you again.

Finally bought a GPU (1050ti) and on testing the memory seems happy at +1000 (the max any tweaking app will allow :o) but even at stock clocks/voltage it's throttling due to power usage 90% of the time in Furmark.  How am I supposed to properly test, let along tweak, this card?  First thought was add a 6 pin, but it's £12 shipping on a £0.63 a connector so it's cheaper to buy a dead old card on eBay!

If the solder in the empty holes was playing nice that's what I'd have done but instead I'm going to stand out in the sun painting, just waiting for sunscreen to take effect so I don't get cremated.

I don't think it pulls near 75 in games.

But alot of motherboards have really budget Mosfets, so they get worn out if the GPU pulls too much from the PCIE slot.

3rd PCB in a row from a pricey group buy with issues.  So, I guess QC is bothering me.  However, despite having absolutely no training, I have become a Macguyver at troubleshooting and problem solving these boards.  ALL 3 FIXED, BABY.  Completely reflowed a mirocontroller, repaired a trace, and reseated/reflowed 5 diodes.

mmhmm....

That's normal..

The stimulants reduce receptor count over long term use.

Once your receptor count is down, You need the stims just to be Normal (lvl of awakeness)..

If you've done this for Years,   It will take anywhere from 3 to 6 months of discontinued stims-use to re-sensitize and bring back some of the receptors

The first 2 weeks of detox will be a slew of headaches and possibly cold-like symptoms..

Heavy coffee drinker here, too. The only way i could stay awake at work was drinking lots of water as well so that I was miserable and had to pee all day.  Fun times.

I made the mistake of getting a cheap espresso machine so I've been drinking those almost every evening (plus my daily morning coffee) and I had one too many energy drinks last week on top of that.  I thought I'd 'detox' a couple days to get a caffeine break.....yeah.....that sucked.

I actually stopped caffeine use completely a month or two ago and only grab a Mountain Dew from the fridge when I can't stay awake. Problem is that it doesn't help. I did have killer withdrawal headaches for a week or so after I cut them though.

Xercise is good..

Overall, it's the modern lifestyle which is very much at odds with our biology..

People eat dirty diseased dead animal carcasses..

People sit in a car, people sit at work, people sit when they get home..

People use non-tented keyboards..

It's everything..

Honestly though most of the people you hear about that die from something like Listeria got it from lettuce or spinach.

I don't have full knowledge on listeria.

But animal foods are simply not clean, and in many ways, UN-Cleanable..

If humans were really adapted for meat consumption, we'd eat it like real carnivores, raw, slimy, wet, no soy sauce allowed.

The fact that the majority of humans find the REAL taste of meat revolting is the most basic indicator that it's not a very compatible meal source..

I can personally overlook the Cruelty to slaughterhouses,  but the abhorrent sanitation problem.. it's quite disturbing.

These animals are sick,  they got dead ones laying next to live ones for weeks/months, They sleep in their own pewp and urine..

The things they told us as children NOT to put in our mouths..  it's really all there..

Well I do enjoy the taste of almost raw meat, as I eat my steaks rare or medium-rare. Humans did for years eat raw animal flesh, but the discovery of fire changed all that. Now we cook meat in order to kill any bacteria on the surface of the meat. You can eat steak bleu rare because the bacteria doesn't actually contaminate the flesh unless it has been improperly stored. Vegetables come from the soil and can contain just as many bad bacteria such as listeria, e coli, etc. which is why it must be washed before eating.

-Humans did for years eat raw animal flesh-

This is not verifiable, only a theory.

It's an unlikely theory given how extremely different our digestive design is from True Carnivores.

True carnivores have very short digestive tracks to get rid of the meat as quickly as possible. Because it rots inside your warm and wet stomach.

Eating meat is the primary contributor to stomach, bowel, and colon cancer.

Vegetables can become contaminated, but it is not Nearly as probable.. Because vegetables don't p00p..

Most meat infections is due to the impossibility of clean handling during the butcher process resulting in fecal contamination.

90% of the meat on the market, no matter how well packaged is infact contaminated with fecal matter.

You have the least paid, hardest worked, most apathetic, most traumatized workforce in charge of a very dirty substance (dead animal carcasses)..

I'm pretty sure we've talked about this before. My maternal guardian disapproves of your findings...
