I don't rewatch most movies. Am I supposed to rewatch them for some reason?

I've never seen Titanic does that count?

Who has time to re-watch movies?

Apocalypto may be the last movie I've watched more than once.

Considering how many movies there are, most movies don't get rewatched by me. The movies I tend to rewatch are classics: masterpieces or significant for one reason or other.

I think one Shreck movie was enough. I can see that one again. The sequels, I rather wish they did not exist.
I also have not seen Titanic, and I don't plan to.

Tp4 has rewatched Terminator 2 at least 90+ times now, 40-50 times on VHS, 30 times on Bluray, 20+ times on 4K

I will re-watch movies that were significant enough to me to want to invest a couple of more hours of my life into them.

I don't concern myself with "spoilers" and after the primary plot is moved into the background of the experience it is certainly easier to focus on details and nuance.

Last, I am old enough that most of the details of movies that I saw over half of my lifetime ago have dissipated into the mists of time (especially those from some of my younger days that I watched "under the influence"), so generally the good ones get better and the bad ones get worse.

"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

hmm T2 for sure would be one of my most watched of all-time. Old roommate would watch it nearly every day, not even kidding, so saw that a ton. Pulp Fiction would be up there too.
Then probably the LOTR trilogy and the Harry Potter series cause I used to just leave them running in the bg while working in the college days.

Most "popular" movies are so formulaic you have no need to watch them again.

You've probably seen that "same" movie a few dozen times, just slightly different people and words.

Agree, but what's the alternative ?  don't say Outside.. that is NOT an option for Tp4, even before the pandemic.

Up to the mid-00's before torrenting became convenient I used rewatch things a lot because they were on TV. I generally watch 5+ movies a week, more this year because of lockdowns, so maybe I'll go back to rewatching a few because it's getting challenging drum up new ones.

the only movie i actively re-watched are the Mask, Kung Fury and Bad Boys, to get a good laugh, i may have re-watched other movies but i was either too young to remember, or it was because TV and someone else really wanted to see it for the nth time (and well i do not remember those movies either)

Name any movie, popular or not, and chances are I haven't watched it once let alone twice.  I tend to remember anything I do watch and don't see the point in seeing all the 'stuff you don't notice the first time' or playing 'what else has that guy been in' so a good one over 10 years old could get a rewatch if I had nothing better to do and it was put on in front of me but I'd never seek out something I've already seen.

Look up classic films and tv series, cult classics, foreign films, read a book, write a book, take up a hobby, play a video game... Pretty much anything other than watching yet another feel good/super hero/action movie.

You talked about how as you age you don't seem to learn as much, watching the same garbage over and over again isn't going to help with that. You avoid junk food, time to avoid junk tv and movies as well.
