yes I made it from scratch, end up find it quite easier than I thought tho

the recipes is simple, just flour+eggs, but the kneading is the real pain, much harder than pizza dough actually, maybe life would be easier if I got a food processor :))

Had it for lunch for a week in a row now..

It's fantastic..

The large oyster meat is much tougher than the small oysters.

What sauce did you combine it with? :)

I just love simple carbonara with fresh pasta, no cream just egg yolk and parmesan

Yay, carbonara with egg+parmesan here too, their creamy texture is perfect

Sadly in Vietnam all those lazy restaurants put cream chesse in instead, maybe because of the parmesan's price too but still make me sad and I end up made it myself all the time

I also like fresh pasta with bolognese, or meat ragu :P

Parmesan price in my country is also too much :(

And yeeee for ragu, I have my own recipe (combining many recipes including Heston's) which need around 4-5 hours of cooking
But recently I made a lot of pesto, that since I really can't keep up with how fast my basil grow . They're literally like weed and grow everywhere

Can't find pine nuts here though, so have to subtitute it with roasted almond and still turns out great :)

I can just keep going talking about pastas...

I found the most hardest part is the pancetta, I cant even find any here in Finland, some niche store in Vietnam have them but the price goes like $60/kg, that is doubled what parmesan costs there, so I go with bacon most of the time :(

I wish I have place to grow my own herbs too :(

if you just lightly fry up some garlic in oil

Then take the bread and toast it lightly in it..

Then put the ketchup on it..

OR you can put a little ketchup into the oil from the beginning..  But you gotta just a little because the ketchup has alotta water.

if anyone is into bacon I have a seriously good tip from my mum's boyfriend - I wouldn't try it at first because bacon is too important to screw up... but anyway it's worth it so listen up kiddies...

fry up bacon in a pan the way you usually would.. in the last 2 minutes of cooking though get your Heinz tomato ketchup out and let out a decent squeeze into the frying pan (it's good to pour a bit of the excess oil out of the pan first by the way) - their should be enough ketchup to modestly coat all the bacon - now keep cooking and let the ketchup fry up and caramelize on the bacon over the next two minutes!

Once you do it there's no going back  :D

Hrrrmrm....

This is quite risky..  Gotta keep frying temperature under tight control, or else the ketchup would burn..

I've not tried to put garlic INTO the mayo,

I have tried frying garlic IN oil,  then using "that oil" instead of flavorless oil

I'm lazy ... As much as I like Duke's I'll probably try this next:

My beef with Dukes is as delicious as it is, it still uses Soybean oil - and is likely GMO.  Maybe I will make my own sometime.  I'd like to try tasting some with Macadamia nut oil which would be very interesting.

Country ham is hard to beat, but cheese & garlic grits are the way to go.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

These were the only grits they offered. I just ate them in the same bites as the ham; it helped tame the taste of pure salt a bit.  :))
