you guys!!
i like pinball. do you? i found a couple machines in the town i live in. there's a lost in space (sega) at a fast food place and i feel weird staying there for more than like 30 minutes, but they do sell beers.
the machine sucks, i dont know if its just this one or the game is not very good in general. i dont really like sega/data east games but im sure there are a few good ones.
the other one i play a lot is in the lobby of a laser tag place (with a bar!!!) - junk yard, which is an awesome machine!
a few things are broken, like the toilet and the magic van, but most of the high scoring modes dont need those to work perfectly. it's a really fun addictive game without a lot of frills, but it makes up for it in strategy.
i also go to rotterdam's dutch pinball museum sometimes.
they have some kickass machines and a handful of dumb ones like ORBITOR 1:
it's nutty. they have some modded machines:
super high tech updated Guns n Roses and a fully converted The Matrix machine based on the johnny mnemonic playfield:
and of course classics like the full size indiana jones, addams family, tales from the crypt. i've been playing a lot of cactus canyon there. it's got this rootin tootin rascal dude in the upper right that you have to hit in the face with pinballs. pow!
now i'm drinkin store brand wine and it's cool
