HyperX Alloy replace stabilizers/fix rattle
« on: Thu, 13 June 2019, 15:05:39 »
Hey, so I got myself a HyperX Alloy on Cherry MX Blue.
Enter and shifts rattle a lot. I wonder if I could anyhow fix that.
I tried this fix https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=96326.0 but the noise isn't coming from that spot - it didn't help.

After watching some videos I have noticed that the "clip" (the plastic part that holds wire and is inserted in plate) is rattling a lot.
It's not snug like on this video:

I have also noticed that the wire is HyperX Alloy is much thinner than wire on regular Costar.

Costar:

Is there anything that I could do to stop the rattle?
Regular costar stabs can be replaced without desoldering and I am thinking about replacing them with original costar but I don't know if they will fit. Does anyone know if this can be done?
