Also, since Ed is OBVIOUSLY ignoring you Demik. :))
Yes, he's had The Habit before.

breh

Have you had habit? Dude. So much better than in n out and over priced 5 guys.

Yea. Over in Valencia for school and have to do stuff at the mall and decided to eat here. Five guys is good, but I do enjoy The Habit more. Don't know if there's one around here >.>

Oh... I'm sorry to hear that :p

I have an uncle up there. Place's weather is too damn extreme for me. Either extremely cold or extremely hot. Plus the last time I went there it was a car meet that ended up with guns being pulled out OnO

Sooooo this whole conversation was literally JUST pointed out to me by Edward.

But yea, born and raised in the ghetto, I'm pretty much hood af.
So everyone can bow to my street cred now.

But not Edward's, because he's from Burbank. But don't tell him that. :p

Oh sweet! Haha. Ed lived in Reseda with his family before we moved in together a couple years back. And I lived for a year in Tarzana to go to school. I'm also transferring to CSUN soon.

K, we're friends now, I've decided.
Be careful who you give your address to or Edward and I will show up at your house and click your keyboards because I'm a creep like that.

Okay, I'll let this thread get back to being about food now hahaha. :))

I grew up eating Mexican food in my family. It was part of me (besides in my tummy).

I can't cook to save my life, and when I met my wife (Caucasian) she barely knew anything about cooking, let alone traditional Mexican food.

Now, eight years later, her tamales and tacos are on par with my grandmas'.

Thank goodness there were leftovers because I nabbed as many as I could for lunch.

Actually, it is not too hard to improve on food from generations past, if you understand the underlying principals and techniques, with our improved technology.
But if we were able to go back to the times where our ancestors grew the majority of the food they ate with their own hands, now that would be different.

"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

She buys local produce and meat which is different from what my grandparents buy, and yet she's still able to get it almost down to the tee.

The only thing that's different is the tortilla, but that's because there's a local tortilleria by my grandparents.

That...actually looks amazing. What seasonings do you use?

Extra Virgin olive oil, krazy salt, black pepper, emirl's blackened seasoning, paprika, chives and diced garlic cloves

Tonight was spaghetti, my oldest daughter helped.

I'm so conflicted about Ray's cabbage. On the one hand, it look delicious. On the other, I really hate cabbage.

It's all in how you cook and season it.

Most people just boil it but that's so boring.
