Mmmmm carcinogenic FTW..

The burnt area is just rendered fat and bbq sauce on the aluminum foil that got burnt when I put it under a broiler to finish after cooking it in the pressure cooker. :p

Nothing really special lately.

The other night I cooked creole seasoned diced chicken breast with okra, tomatoes, onion and corn. Served over white rice.

Haha, the wrap was a pretty basic meal at my favorite place in town.  Just needed something a little lighter than the usual polish beef sausage or gyro.  :)

Poutine is <3, you need to try it.  ^-^

The white stuff is indeed sour cream.  A bit runny, sort of like Qdoba's (I think?).  I just poured it over the top and mixed it in, didn't even notice it.

I eat steak whenever my wife tells me.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I haven't posted this in a couple of years.

Not what "I" eat but popular in Trump-land.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Those are made from hazelnuts but the taste does a bit resemble that of chocolate.

The main drawback to real-onion-rings  is that onions have so much moisture..  so even if well prepared, the inside is always on the soggy side..

The fake onion rings made with onion powder or onion flavoring can be built to much tighter consistency and crunch tolerance..

Ontop of all that,  Onions in the miniscule quantity that would go INTO an onion ring, does not actually possess a large amount of _onion flavor_

This compared to onion powder, which is more concentrated, giving you a much greater Onion-sperience.

Here in Atlanta "The Varsity" makes great onion rings, but they are seriously greasy ....

I've been eating lots of oatmeal and shakes since I got a tongue piercing. I don't need to any more, it's just a wicked diet with no-cal sweetener in everything.

Oatmeal is magic. It's versatile like rice but waaaay faster. Flavor it with anything, sweet or savory: Fruit, pb&j, maple syrup, apple sauce, cocoa powder, eggs and avocado, eggs cheddar and bacon bits, apple and bacon, onions peppers and sausage, mushrooms and caramelized onions, full English breakfast with oatmeal instead of beans, chicken stock and scallions and nori and pepper paste. So gooood.

Shakes are way lower calorie when you don't use icecream. Start off with 50/50 milk and plain greek yogurt, then add fake surgar, flavor (fruit juice concentrate, protein powder, fruit/herb extracts), and other thickeners (whole fruit, pudding mix, xanthan gum). Fruit, choco, vanilla, peanutbutter, choco with fruit, vanilla with fruit, peanutbutter with fruit, pb with choco, mint extract with fruit or choco or vanilla.

Best part is I can make the food at work. No need to use precious off-time at home for food prep. Hot water for oatmeal, blender for shakes.
