Data-Collection in a FAIR and Equal society is merely a SELF-monitoring system.
However, in human society, Because of the immense wealth and power gap between the Farmer and the Flock, Privacy is a reserve resource in the balance of power.
Privacy is powerful because it is not easy to oppress a population when their actions can not be reliably predicted.
But OVERALL, I don't believe anyone has to worry about the lack of privacy, because at the other end of this, the lack-of-privacy, the collection-of-data, THESE POWERS, are wielded by OTHER humans. These OTHER humans are NOT significantly more intelligent, and their Bodies are just as frail. They can **** around, but they'll die in 70 years like everyone else.
Yes, these humans have a greater potential to cause harm, but again, the harms are trivial at the scale of geological time (of which life is evolved to deal with). AT WORST, all hughmahns die, and multicellular life starts over again from grass. It did not take that long to make humans, maybe after us, Horse-People. Eventually, maybe earthlings break the space barrier, maybe it all perishes, ALL OK.
Overtime, the MOST OBVIOUS history lesson is that NO ONE is In Control. Leaders who believe themselves Gods are foolish, and they're wasting their own time living in fear of losing something they never truly possessed in the first place. Instead of going to meetings and facing down people that h8 them, they could've been fishing, or playing starcraft.
At the end of the day, Life is not much better whether one is rich/poor powerful/powerless.
You eat 3 meals a day, you p00p, and you sleep, SOMETIMES, secs..
EVERY human lives this way, and experience life more/less equally, with minor variations. People who choose to be leaders are not dumber, but they are as much trapped by their device of control, as those who they intend to rule.
