Anyone haz the 10B pencils ?
« on: Wed, 19 July 2017, 15:36:14 »
Is 10B much softer than 6B .. ?

Tp4 p00r, only haz 6B..

Might save for a 10B pencil for calligraphy..

Could someone who has used 10B describe the softness relative to 6B ?

4-6b are best for shading, then just touch it up with a smudge rubber thing

No, I use it for chinese calligraphy.

Pencil is the only budget tool that can replicate brush strokes reliably.

They do make a fountain pen that also does that in japan, but it's one of those arm and a leg things. hahahahaha..

Brush pen is good, but it's only for writing much larger characters. I'm practicing at 1cm by 1cm.
