There are two electrostatic capacitive keyboards on the crowdfunding platform
one of which is $109, why is it so cheap
Does anyone have more information, one of them is a metal case, can the electrostatic capacitive keyboard work properly in the metal case?

Why does this need to be crowd funded at all?

This is just advertising to capitalize on the "microbrew" attitude popular with young hipsters.

Maybe, but it doesn't matter, I like this keyboard design in metal very much, it's the best industrial-designed electrostatic capacitive keyboard I've ever seen, I want to buy both and try both, but one of them didn't see more information and didn't know what switch to use.

I noticed that this keyboard started crowdfunding yesterday, and here are some updated photos. Is anyone interested? It seems to offer other PCB layout options; I saw both 60% and 87% PCBs. The link says it can provide DIY CAD drawings. Is it difficult to DIY a capacitive keyboard?

You be much better off going with a true custom that has EC internals, which there has been a ton of lately & thanks to Cipulot there is even TKL & 60% EC PCBs that fit a ton of customs. Then TBH Niz's EC components are pretty meh IME compared to OEM, Deskeys, KLC, or Dynacap. That's honestly why you're not seeing much discussion over this, also the fact Niz is crowfunding seems a bit sus too. They have already released a ton of plastic EC boards & even a few metal ones. Can't see any reason a company like them should be crowdfunding.
