Ergodox keycap replacement from 108 key set

I have a 108 key set as well as a full set of Leopold white PBT keys for a TKL board. It seems like Ergodox uses a lot of weird size keys. Is this true? I have been googling, but it's not clear to me if I'd not have enough to finish the board if I used a 108 key set.

Alternately, what is the likelihood if I posted a WTB in the classifieds I could get someone else's printed ergodox keycap set? If i would have to wait a little while for someone to show up, that's fine, but if they're going to be very hard to come by I don't want to falsely expect them to show up there...

You cannot complete one with a set of 108 keys. ErogoDox requires a ton of 1.5u keys, 12 to be exact. Most 108 keyset only has 2 of them (tab and \| ).

It is near impossible to get sets with correct printing on the modifiers, most are blanks. However you can still see them in uniform profile keysets, such as DSA Granite and XDA Canvas.

Yep, it's "bad"... twelve 1.5x keys, and four 2.0x keys.
Hard to find.

There is this drop coming up, in Feb. they say:

It has an Ergodox set that includes a total of twelve 1.5x keys and twelve more 2.0x keys. (4 each in 3 different colors).

No pricing, yet.

Dang! Looks like any way of getting keys for an ergo are gonna be a pain...

I could put normal 1u keys on all the 2u key spaces but that would probably be harder to use than it would look stupid.

I don't know about your current set, but this is will be a super useful kit if you plan on converting to the ergodox.

You could potentially try and score a Granite ergo set, but DSA really seems to have fallen out of favor.

you can use normal 1u

it doesn't greatly affect the usability of the ergodox..

but you can also just order the set of 12 from wasd keyboards.. or signature plastics.

i have plenty of plain 1u caps i like a lot and was hoping to just get the set of 12 2u's.
so it looks like that is what i will do
