I wanted to share with you my Topre keyboard collection:

My favorite is the HHKB. All the keyboards including the 23UB have original Silent sliders and original silencing rings (that are taller than regular sliders). They all have original 55g domes... many a 55g and Silent realforces have been sacrificed to create these (well not sacrificed, but gutted; but Tenso was my best friend for a while a couple of years ago). Decided to go with the Miami Vice theme on the HHKB because I had a bunch of caps themed that way. And then there's the resin throw-up on the 87UB and the 23UB lol. Usually I keep the Hack Orange on my 87UB because that's my favorite clack, and everything else is black.

I also replaced all the LEDs on the 87UB and 23UB with high output UV LEDs, they look an awesome purple at night time.

HHKB also has Hasu's BT controller running TMK with a modified firmware and a 3000mAh battery that lasts about 1.5 days of use.

Not pictured here is a 55g silent FC660C with Novatouch sliders (NT was really sacrificed) and GMK Carbon on it (this one is my daily at work).

Really nice boards! I am looking to get into the Topre life also but still undecided between the HHKB & Leopold FC660C. Have you used the Leopold?

Yeah he said he has one with novatouch sliders but its not pictured.

I've had a bunch of Topre boards and I really settled into my 55g hhkb type-s with hasu bluetooth as my #2 most used board. I do love to type on it and its a great layout. I would like to get some 'cookie' stickers for it but the silver ones i got in the mail today will have to suffice for now


I am working on an RF104UW with 55g domes with topre-mx sliders from CTRL|alt group buy and either my Nantucket Selectric SA set or a GMK set. That will likely be my new work board but we'll see.

Not sure yet, I'll likely take a drill to it to get some holes where the key can poke though. I'll have to wait for my sliders to show up and see what i'm working with.
