I think you're misinterpreting things a bit...

I think you guys are forgetting one thing: geeks (typically) have very low self-confidence, and even if they do get out of the house, would not have the courage to walk up to some chick they don't know and strike up a conversation. Lol the whole geek thing is kind of in right now.  I think I'm pretty geeky, built my own computer, collect keyboards, spend a lot of time on the computer in general.  That said, being a geek doesn't mean you can't have a social life or attract women.  My last girlfriend thought my geeky traits were really cute.

I will say that during the period of time where I watched Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z all the way through, I had no life.
