If someone can't accept who you are, then how do you classify them as 9/10+?

If they look like heidi klum, they're 10+  with or without an agreeable personality

She did, and still does, accept the fact that I'm a geek.  It's just that I was too much of a geek to make any moves, so it kinda just fell apart...

Again, if I could do it all over...

In a few years, when Barbara's boobs start sagging, she can get plastic surgery, have them lifted, move the nipple wherever. You can actually go to a titty bar, pick out a set of titties and say, "I want those titties on that woman." If her belly gets too big, she can get a tummy tuck and have a belly like a cheerleader. If her vision goes bad, you can have LASIK surgery and have 20/20 vision. If her hearing goes bad, they can install a device in her ear that will give you hearing as clear as it was the day you were born. But let me tell you something, folks: You can't fix stupid. There's not a pill you can take; there's not a class you can go to. Stupid is forever.

You sit at a desk all day at work, then you go home and sit at a desk to relax... and watch Star Trek.

I never realized it when I was a kid but I had to have been a geek, I played no sports and after school I came home and ate a microwave sandwich and watched star trek, EVERYDAY!

left out the part about geeks having no friends..

don't worry though, ur pal TP4 is always online.

Nope, she's fantastic. Not bored of her at all. But I'm one of those guys that never leaves his work half finished. I simply could not, and will not, leave a keyboard (or guitar) half assembled.

Au contraire. I merely oppose what people in this thread think a geek is. It seems many of it is negativity in regards to women, and I'm merely saying that it isn't true.

Wow, do you guys even know how to read? Nothing I said was negative towards women, but how people seem to think that being a "geek" means that every girl is out of range, that you should jump at sex at any given opportunity, that your standards are too high, etc.

People get bored of other people. It's a fact.

That's true. And I think that there are also several different layers of geek-ness. I mean, I can sit and talk about guitar strings for 6+ hours and not be bored, but I also get out there in the real world and meet people. Geeks could meet women if they, you know, left their house more often?

Anyway, I love my women. Err, I mean woman.

How about this: it's highly likely a "geeky" thing to wonder why, on a forum of keyboard users who strive to find the best feeling switches, etc., people can't take the time to capitalize, punctuate, spell properly, type out words in their entirety, etc.

I think you guys are forgetting one thing: geeks (typically) have very low self-confidence, and even if they do get out of the house, would not have the courage to walk up to some chick they don't know and strike up a conversation. Just because that's not true for you doesn't give you the right to bash other people because that's who they are.

Lol the whole geek thing is kind of in right now.  I think I'm pretty geeky, built my own computer, collect keyboards, spend a lot of time on the computer in general.  That said, being a geek doesn't mean you can't have a social life or attract women.  My last girlfriend thought my geeky traits were really cute.

I will say that during the period of time where I watched Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z all the way through, I had no life.

... you watch a movie filmed in the 1980's that features a computer, and you go frame-by-frame trying to discern what kind of keyboard was used.

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

For me it's when I go to the store and get the urge to press the keys on the PoS system to see if they are mechanical.

When you go to future shop, listen to a conversation between the "tech specialist" trying to sell something to an "average customer" and you can discern all the differences between the truth and the "vendor arguments" and all you want to do is to wait for the vendor to go away and then tell the truth to the customer  ;D
