1080 is ~ 15-20% faster than the 1070,  @ precisely 15-20% more on price..

That's the better deal..  because you get what you pay for.



Also, right there on that weird website you linked.. the first column says gtx 1080 is the #1 value..

so.. Tp4 engine has already predicted that result..


The 1070 pcbs are usually stripped down a bit on power delivery too..   not a huge problem, but this isn't exactly an engine you can fix later.

V-sync is 1:1

Fastsync is 1+ : 1


with Vsync, the engine is running at 60 fps just like the 60 hz screen

with Fastsync,  the engine is running at Max ~300fps,  and only draws the Latest frames onto the 60hz screen.



Fastsync, offers significantly reduced input latency, and more up to date frames.


It does require that the engine be at around 2.5x and above the monitor's refresh rate though.


I'm not sure if Supersampling would drop the frame rate too low for the fast sync to be effective..


What is your uncapped frame rate with just Super sampling.

first uncap the frame rate in diablo 3 menu where it says max foreground fps, uncheck that,

Then turn off  vsync.

Then go into nvidia profile inspector,  find diablo 3, and look for the fast-sync option.
