that i can only legally marry in a month after filing papers

marriage as a whole
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Got criticized for not being calm under stress at work, which is true, but it has been so slow at work lately that I cannot switch from lazy to perfect employee in 1-2-3. Because I am not used to work anymore I am making mistakes on my projects and cannot stay calm 'cause I know I can do much better.
And to top this off, I just deleted an account on a live system without backing up before doing so. So now I can solve that stupidity as well, talking about a confidence booster.

Yeah, having one of those days...

bold claim ... everything on the planet...

but everything else in the universe is then, NOT trying to piss you off..   so the things on this planet of which are trying to piss you off are infinitesimal relative to the things that are NOT trying to piss you off and perhaps even trying to cheer you up - despite existing outside your knowledge/universe..

Oh I won't! I want to cast my crappy cyclops just to get a feel for the process, and but im going to be sculpting every day and hopefully I'll have at least one good cyclops by the end of summer :D Goal is to see one of my caps on another persons board as that is basically the highest honor. The feels when someone wants something that you handmade and just wants to display it :O I can't even imagine.

My supermarket clears all the veg away really early. I went in at 9pm last night and all the salad had been cleared up.

I was really craving a ham and tuna salad... guh.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

The fact that keycap making is way harder than I thought it would be. . .I wanted to spend my summer making sweet keycaps but right now I only have a crappy cyclops. . .oh well, time to keep trying!

You have produced far more in the way of keycaps than 99% of GH members, myself included.  I would barely know even where to start!

Just make blanks. Or don't :))

Blank Topre keycaps would be nice ;D
I'd be willing to do it but I don't have any topres. If you still want some, later on when I've learned all of this and gotten a better grasp I'd love to help out!

People ditching you
On a similar note, friends making plans in front of you. . .
Also this. Good to know we both have great friends...
I mean we have been friends for like 10 years and for some reason everyone is going camping except me. . .I can't go, but it would be nice if they asked :/ (they don't know that I can't go)
I've been friends with these people since kindergarten and they make plans with each other in front of me all the time
welcome to the adulthood.

Look at the bright side: you can make up for all that time you've spent paying more on cheese and tennis.

Shipping to Canada. Shipping rates seem more expensive than what our socialized healthcare covers for.

What's bothering me lately is the way things are changing from innocent until proven guilty to guilty until proven innocent ("preponderance of evidence"). While it doesn't affect me directly (as I'm no longer in college/university), for it to be considered acceptable is a very scary concept. It's being used in schools in cases of "consent", where if a man cannot prove explicitly that he had consent from a woman (extremely difficult to do without police help), he is punished.

Also, a coworker has a broken keyboard where the spacebar makes a terrible, loud springboard noise with every single non-spacebar keystroke... that's bothering me too someitmes!
