Square cut is totally different than square pizza

It was 1993, Tp4 had just come off the boat, he was greated by dat america skool-lunch rectangle cut pizza.

Inedible to Tp4, he traded it for 8x tatertots + juicebox.

So the Terminator shoots up a police station.

Which makes one think,  can a modern metro police station stop a single terminator?

Creating 3 accounts with different websites just to apply to a single job. I swear making website accounts is like the new cover letter, 100% to just waste your time.

Finally landed job interview. Seems pretty close on a map, just a 10 minute drive away.

Checks bus routes... 1hr 40 minutes having to make 3x transfers, and then I'd STILL have to walk for 25 minutes along a highway for the same exact trip. For some absurd reason, the only bus that goes there travels in the exact opposite direction, essentially looping around the entire goddamn city. Why can't the bus go the other way? Why does NO bus go the other way? Why does a 10 minute car trip have to take 1hr 40 mins?

According to Google Maps, I would actually save 20 minutes straight up walking there from my home vs the bus. I just cannot wrap my mind around the absurdity of this bus route.

What are you doing to me, life? Just give me a break, please, I am so tired.

If I actually got this job, I'd have no other option than paying over $200 a week to get to and from work via Uber.

The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Depending on where NT lives (which I think is PNW) means foot travel and bike travel may or may not be viable in certain times of the year. I live in the Midwest myself and we have snow on the ground for ~6 months out of the year and with windchill our temps get -60f. We designed our cities as if everyone has a car.

True but at that rate it could pay for itself in a single week or less.

Aren't bicycles expensive though? I guess NT could always just steal one.  ;)

That's what they do in europe.

Even if you went half-and-half, for example ride to work this morning, call Uber at the end of the day and the next morning, and ride the bike home.

Theoretically that could cut the cost in half.
“The reason they call it the American Dream is because you have to be asleep to believe it.” - George Carlin

"Politicians have been proving Carlin right for decades. The GOP and the second Trump Administration seem bent on doing what they’ve always done, sometimes even turning the American Dream into the American Nightmare. Taxes are a major contributor, especially the billions upon billions that the rich and corporations don’t pay. Trump and his fellow Republicans are committed to keeping it that way — and, if their slim Congressional majorities can stick together, to do even more for those who need it the least. As one small example, the overall corporate tax rate could drop to 20%; domestic manufacturers could do even better, ending up with an effective corporate rate of 15%. The federal tax code is famous (and infamous) for its huge handouts to those with the highest incomes, the most egregious being the cap on Social Security taxes."

Step 1, steal bicycle.

Step 2, ride to work.

Step 3, steal second bicycle because the bicycle you sold this morning was again stolen by someone else.

Step 4, ride second stolen bicycle home

Step 5, next day, start by stealing another bicycle, because your second stolen bicycle was stolen in the night.

Very correct. I did my time served in college, where my bus stop was in the middle of a highway with no protection and just a metal pole in some mud. Night time during winter was so miserable. Too old for that nonsense now.

With the price of used cars these days, I'm looking into an electric bike that is street legal. Budget is like $2k tops.

I am too old and fragile for it now, but if I were about 20% younger I would get one. I hate that I live on a very busy narrow street.

Too old, fat, and lazy. It's hard enough finding motivation to go to the gym 3x a week, there's no way a push bike will last. There will be a day where I didn't get enough sleep, it will be grey cold and raining, and I'll just throw that thing into a river.

Becareful buying Seasonings.

Tp4 just received his order of Black Salt,  they've doped it with regular salt.  The flavor is extremely weak.

This must make for a huge boost to their sales, as regular salt is 1/100th the price in wholesale.

So if people don't know what it's supposed to taste like, they couldn't possibly know they've gotten rigged salt.

Probably lots of saw dusters out there these days too.

No doubt that is true, but cycling in the rain is pretty miserable. And probably unsafe.

You'd need to wear proper rain gear on the lower half of your body, because your knees and feet are more exposed when cycling. Otherwise if you're just walking and taking public transport then you could often get away with just adding a raincoat.

As for safety, I've been more concerned about slipping on leaves this fall.

You'd need to wear proper rain gear on the lower half of your body, because your knees and feet are more exposed when cycling. Otherwise if you're just walking and taking public transport then you could often get away with just adding a raincoat.

As for safety, I've been more concerned about slipping on leaves this fall.

The outside is bad. /Fully Convinced

No doubt that is true, but cycling in the rain is pretty miserable. And probably unsafe.

At night, in bad weather, along the shoulder of a highway?

I also used to live in a place where it rains more than in Seattle, for a good few years. Cycled there year round, it was ok.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you.
Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I've one all three this year, but not more than one at once, but I'll have to.

I'm a bit uneasy about biking later this week, because the temp is going to hover around freezing. It is when the temp goes up and down around 0°C that you'll get icy conditions.

So called "black ice" terrifies me - on foot or on wheels.

People who allow their cats up on kitchen countertops and places you prepare food and eat.
You realize they literally paw their own **** and piss every day, and unless your cat is a devout Muslim and washing their feet before prayer call, I don't think it is sanitary to have cat poo particles in your food.

I too am vehemently against indoor animals, but I think that it is just as bad to sleep with them in your bed.

Cats go out and chew on dead things, then they poot then scratch at the litter box, you can see why they say cats can transfer parasites/worms.

As a cat owner, . I will rub my face all over my cat to show affection. My cat is not allowed on the counters, but sleeps in my bed, on my PC tower, on the couch, etc. My cat is indoor only so no possibility of contracting nasties from the outside word, but a litterbox is a necessary evil. I also have 2 kids and I can almost guarantee my cat is more hygienic than my children.

You know that song "Frozen" ?

Why do people like original movie/online versions, the voice is so grating / harsh. Like an annoying english teacher voice.

I guess this week 5 years ago was the last time I had sex? Then 16 years before that. So twice in 21 years.

Just one more thing driving me towards the inevitable, what can ya do? Just keep trying to make things better till the day you die.
The only thing that reminded me was a damn Google Flashback from the date we went on. So thanks for that reminder, Google.

NT,  if you're not obscenely ugly,  if it was just sex, you could buy it.

So, one would have to assume, what you're talking about wanting is an emotional connection that came with some physical demonstrations.

What DEEDS have you performed in the last few years to DESERVE such gifts from the almighty?

Miracles aren't cheap you know. They cost something.

If you guys sought female friends and companions rather than objectifying women and thinking that they had to be won, or purchased, you might find more success.

Fohat, you're projecting.

Philosophy side, the Tp4 also disagrees to the effect that we're ALL OBJECTS.
