Friend zone is not something of permanence..

Sooner or later, it's possible to get through..

So, if you're in Multiple friend zones.. again we see linear scaling..

This is both wrong and sad. Waiting for a girl who's dating someone else thinking you're in some kind of line and your next, this is not the way the world works. What happened to your brain that that dude thinks this is how society works and it is a valid way to date? That's really messed up, and very sad.

I had a friend who put himself in that position for an awfully long time, was a little sad seeing the toll it took on him (his own fault of course).

Fortunately he moved on and is now doing extremely well for himself, so as pathetic as it can seem, sometimes it gives the guy the ass kicking they've needed for a while.  :thumb:

If you try this, make sure none of the girls see you following other girls around, otherwise it's game over.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I seriously don't mesh well with any of the women I know. But I'm not worried about finding someone, I'm more worried about my contribution to the great volcano of life. Like, what kind of food does one bring when they're about to throw themselves in a volcano? Olives? What the hell kind of food do the gods like? Mutton? What do I know?

Clearly you are not blessed with cousins.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

Just met up with an old buddy today.

I am surprised that some guys do this at (my age). Tp4 = OLD

But this fellar is following around the girl he likes. This girl is currently attached to someone else,  So the fella is effectively Queuing..

THIS is a valid strategy, but many of these guys have not extrapolated that the odds of success scales linearly with the NUMBER of female-queues they wait in.

So, over all, if you're up to this..  You need to chase many skirts of this type SIMULTANEOUSLY..

"Chasing skirt" is one of the oldest euphamisms I've ever head for dating.

I think this may be a valid strategy in China where there are more men to women, but I dunno about anywhere else... Also it's a bit creepy.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

But my method of staying indoors and hoping some attractive female knocks on my door hasn't worked thus far...Maybe tp is onto something.

TP4 needs a Vegas trip. Just hang out at the hotel clubs out here after midnight.  Plenty of girls.  Much easier to wait outside the entrance, you'll avoid grinding with Felicia or Chantel inside where the lights are off.

Dude, we'd just drop him off. Come back around 2, if he's still coherent, move him to the next club at the hotel across the street.  A couple of times doing that and TP will be MIA for at least a few days.  He'll be alright though he won't pass a piss test for about a month.

Oh boy.. I better finally get started naming my organs so I could later move onto forgetting them after a weekend shooting up heroin in Vegas...

tp4 is agony aunt now?

Quick!  Someone ask him about walking a dog! :))

TP what do pancakes signify in a relationship? I've never had a pancake exchange in a relationship aside from Denny's :'(

A breakfast date during the work week, means they only want (at that moment) the least commitment possible between the two of you..

It's different when you're in college, since you'd have ample free time to hang out after breakfast.. so in these cases, it's no different from a regular date..

But an ADULT breakfast date, means  Assured escape plan/excuse (gotta go to work), No commitment for night-time activity (physical pressure to perform), and the rest of the day left to do whatever if the date burns.

Think about a dinner date, and how much resources is necessary.  Thinking about it throughout the day alone is nerve racking..

I think in Burma and some other parts of south asia, parts of india, it's socially acceptable AND legal to marry first cousins..

and also states that let you marry them only if they're infertile, but it is still not legal to haz the sex..

WHICH makes no sense.. hahahahahaha  this is a silly topic.. America is a silly place.

I have to say I'm rather surprised here and there at which states it's legal in and in which it's illegal.

Remember that most State constitutions were written when technology was non-existent and most people lived in remote rural regions where their choices were severely limited.

At second cousins+, there is very little blood connection and the chances of any birth defects or problems are very low or about the same as any other non related persons procreating.

So at some point the cousin thing is over stated and just a cultural thing, rather than a serious problem in terms of genetics.

Yeah that's what I've read. The whole "your kid will come out messed up" is over blown. More like there is a bigger risk it your bloodline has a problem. But not a guarantee like everybody makes it out to be.

I think the whole reason we think of the "your kid will come out messed up" is because the most commonly-used examples of inbreeding are in royalty. However, that was generations of cousins and siblings, at which point there were quite a few problems.

I know a guy that married and had a child with his first cousin. Kid came out fine.

For the most part it's (genetically) okay.

Using COMMIES as example for inbreeding is perfect tho. Just look at them. All ugly.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

I think there is no such thing as 100% kid will be messed up via inbreeding... sometimes distant couples who are completely fine also end up with a down syndrome kid... the probability in genetics... is too complex, they say such as to avoid the higher risk due to inbreeding I think...

Well... if we look at Cheetas,  they're nearly 100% inbred.. and yet they're the fastest land animal.

So clearly  inbreeding = speedddddddd

Now all we gotta do is get one internet to mate with another internet, then we get DOUBLE internet..

Okay, cheetahs are not "nearly 100% inbred", nor does inbreeding have anything to do with their speed.

TP, why? Whyyyyyyyy? There may be people reading these threads who believe you. D:

Actually,  there are specific theories that the selection for the extreme speed is what has lead to their homogeneity..

But the primary theory is that cheetahs experienced a population crash at the end of the ice age due to human expansion.

And I don't know why you're saying they're not inbred,  because they are.

only 67 variations on 100,000 genes in cheetas. vs 10,000 variations on 100,000 genes in humans

only 1 out of 5 cheetah species currently active

I've been thinking about it and I realized that there are different levels of pancakes. I figured that if the pancakes are frozen it does not count as an obligation, likewise with frozen waffles. But what about pancakes whipped up with fruits, chocolate or specialty items in them? Does that mean I've fallen into a den?

Dating, or advice?
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

If you go long enough not dating you lose interest and realize what a waste of time it is. You have so much free time and extra money unless you're me, plus none of the emotional bull**** and frivolous arguments. Sex is drastically overrated, filthy stressful and tedious, you aren't missing anything on that front. The only real reason to be in a relationship is procreation and raising a kid, otherwise a huge waste of time and energy. Just love yourself... so to speak.
