I never did like that game, even though I played it for years and years. It was way too easy to get addicted and stay addicted. I eventually finally quit for good 3-4 years ago, mostly over how easy they were making every single skill, and and that level 120 nonsense. OSRS tempts me from time to time, but I don't want to start over, especially given how I did a huge chunk of my leveling when it was still that difficult.
Runescape is still the most addicted I have ever been to, well, anything. I sat on my computer for literally an entire spring break, to the extent that I lost 20 lbs from reduced food intake (I played
much longer, this was just tipping point). Not that I'm proud of it, but I have such a nostalgia hook on this game now that some time has passed. I really want to give it another go, using my newfound Adult Wisdom
TM to help avoid issues.
But I digress; I'm curious about this nerfing you mention - when did that take place, and was it all in the confines of the "OSRS" system? Obviously at the time it wasn't called that. I remember hearing that the newer version was kind of crappy, but am really hoping they didn't also sort of cripple OSRS when they brought it back.
