Hmm.. That sticker proves that Macintosh is a girl, because the motif must clearly be the offspring of Macintosh and Gameboy.

got sushi. argued with people about climate change
Only argue? You didn't march today?

I marched... in pouring rain, hail and thunder. Then I had Thai instead of sushi because I felt like I wanted tofu today.

I thought that my filing cabinet looked entirely too adult-like and professional, so I made it more fun.  ^.^

Kind of what I was wondering, considering about the only place that AMD is beating Intel right now is in small very budget chips for very lightweight laptops/large tablets and that sort of thing.  For any real work/servers you want intel for new builds.  I could very well be wrong on this.

I think you are probably right. I work in devops for a cloud computing company so I see a lot of servers go by and they are all Intel chipsets.

Wrote a short program to tell me the distance between hole centers for my Ti-86.  It is the only thing I can write programs for.  And even then it is input this, that, and the other, add this to that, and multiply by the other.

Code: [Select]
:Disp "Switch hole size"
:Input A
:Disp "Pitch"
:Input B
:Disp "1st key"
:Input C
:Disp "2nd key"
Input D
:((B*C-A)+(B*D-A))/2+A→E
:Disp E

OK, first: that shirt is awesome (except I am ashamed as a Street Fighter fan, I've no idea who that cactus girl is)
second: Biomotor Unitron? CIB? You lucky sunnuva batch (also BVlast Corps is awesome too)

Never played Crush Roller, but there was a sealed one on Ebay not to long ago. Already not a super common game, but new/sealed is crazy.

Nice.  I would probably buy an N-64 just for Conkers Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark (arguably the best FPS ever made for console), and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarania of Time.

Call me crazy but I don't think Mario has been done right since Super Mario Bros. 3 for NES.

Went to the Irvine Global Village, a "cultural" festival in Irvine today.  If you know anything about Irvine or Orange County, you'll understand why this is ironic.

Surprisingly, it had the largest concentration of non-white people I have ever seen in Orange County.  And the company was good, so I had fun

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Congratulations, sir!

I hope everything went smoothly :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I Nerded out hard.

The shirt is from Tokidoki so the cactus girl and the little black guy in the bottom left are Tokidoki characters. Don't worry, you didn't miss anything from Street Fighter.

Yes Biomotor Unitron in English/UK form complete in box!! I was so excited to find it in store! And yes, my Crush Roller was sealed and in English. I got to unwrap very yellowed packaging :D. Now I need to find a better Neo Geo Pocket Color console since my current one is kinda worn.

Applied to community college to catch up with all you youngin's  :)

CONGRATS MAN!!!!

Nice.  I would probably buy an N-64 just for Conkers Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark (arguably the best FPS ever made for console), and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I've still never played Conkers Bad Fur Day and I can't find a cheap copy of it now :(. I love Perfect Dark and OOT though! I played Perfect Dark more than Goldeneye too when I was a kid. Amazing game.

They ported Conker to the X-box.  I believe I sold mine (both versions) to my brother who never plays them anymore.

Mowed the lawn, went mountain biking, and now I'm having a few beers with mates at the pub.
Good day.

Found an apartment and signed a new lease.  That's one thing I don't have to worry about now.

O Chem...I hated that subject and still do.  I hate it with a fiery passion.  I hate it with the intensity of a thousand burning stars.  I would rather give up all my keyboards than take that course again.  True story.

Thanks for asking!
Well it is organic chem :P My class has about a 40% fail rate... I do like Organic Chem but this is my third semester of it and it is getting pretty hard. Midterm on Friday! Then I am planning on selling my FC660c for a hhkb :)

Good luck!  :D  I hated the lecture portion of the class (pure memorization :( ), but had a blast during both regular and advanced OChem Lab.  Still makes me slightly furious that they split that up, because that is 0% similar to how I learn, but whatever.  I ended up learning things eventually.  :))

Yeah I always found it funny that they split up the lab and lecture.. They do it up here in Cold America too :P Lab is a lot of fun, lecture is a lot of drawing!  :))
