She's definitely not ugly. I think what's most attractive about a woman is her character and aura, and she's definitely an attractive woman in that right (also, for her age)!

Guess that means 10 more months of dark thoughts, loathing, and self-doubt. I can't live like this much longer.

Took me 10 months to get this one interview, why would the future be any different?

it wouldn't, because you are a passive, slacking, oversleeping, unambitious and worthless piece of protoplasm.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Take that accomplishment (getting that interview) as a win, and let it motivate you to hopefully score some more.   :thumb:

Very cool. Do you know what department you would be in?

Technical support, but hey it's full-time non-contract ;)

Nice, good luck! I am sure it is much easier to move around the company once you are inside!

That's exactly what I'm hoping. This is my foot in the door after 10 months of ***** work for other companies.

Because the easiest way to find a job is to have a job.

Good luck - I hope it goes well :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Painting my room today. Needs it badly. But since I'm doing an accent wall it won't be done until tomorrow. Still need to change my ceiling lights, paint baseboard, door jam and door.

As in one wall a different colour to the rest? What colours?

Grey walls/ceiling and red accent (pc corner/entrance)

Grey wasn't what I expected. But not bad.
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

Nice :) I can't wait to get my own place and take over one of the bedrooms with all my PC and keyboard stuff.

Your room needs painting badly?

Why don't you paint it well - it might last longer and look nicer :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I did my best VesperSaint impression.

Dooood~ Your best impression is better than what you're trying to imitate!!!

The combination of that keyboard + GMK + CC's + GH sticker is so much s4x.

IT LOOKS SO DAMN GOOOOOOOD~ And being GMK, it must feel like butter tooo~ I love it!!!

I realised that if I was to have a decent night's sleep before work, I would get 2 hours awake per day. As it is I get 4, and one of those is spent in the gym.

What is the point in working so much?

I would sleep for 8, wake up, then be awake for 2 hours before having to go to work. I then come back from work, have food, and go straight to sleep.

Plans? Just as planned. Monday night I will be in the UK.

Where abouts? If you are anywhere near the midlands, hit me up!

In other news, I really, really like greys...
Congrats on the greys. I'll be far away from Midlands though :(

That sucks :( Is this for a new job though?
Yeah, I will start working the next morning

Not a whole lot. Picked daughter and nephew up from my parents house this morning, played some Minecraft and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, played some LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and played with Peppa Pig etc toys. Oh and threw her around the room for a bit.
