Went to London. London is ****.
no its not

It is.

As someone who's been many times I feel like it's only a place you can really have much of an opinion on if you live there
NO THANKS

Yeah, its a cool place but it's massive... even if you live there chances are you'd only really get to explore the small area you lived in (from what friends have said)...

I'm in Edinburgh since Saturday with a bunch of friends. Remembering the time when we lived in the city. Good lager and ****ty weather!

I thought of Pexton because I'm going to the Brewdog pub on Cowgate.

Swapped the LEDs on my extra Dolch PCB to test out. Didn't get scroll lock to work, but I am not sure if it was working before anyways. When my SIP sockets come, I will be doing to mod to my main board, that way the soldering will be a bit easier, and I can swap them out.

Finished my filing for the past, er, year or so.

I started it a while back, but never got around to finishing it.  Now I have :)

Unfortunately the filing for the 12 to 18 months PRIOR to that remains in another random box somewhere.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Hello, York.

96228-0
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I finished cleaning my latest SSK - came out looking quite reasonable :)

Now if I can stop the Shift and Enter from sticking in the down position, I'll be able to use it.

I have been reading The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman to my son, and he decided he wants to explore a cemetery and see if we can find a ghoul gate ;)    Going to hide plastic eggs with candy/toys inside of them while he is looking around to step up our Easter egg hunt game this year!
