You should try a Kwak if you can find one. They come in a really cool glass. Just be wary of the rush.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

That's good. If you get the chance, Mikkeller Keeper is a great beer out of Denmark that I really recommend.

So do I...
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

If you like lambic you should try the Faro from Lindersman brewery. It is a Belgium beer as well. You have the "Queue de charrue brune" which is really bitter and smell like balsamic vinegar. It is a bit sweet and bitter, I really like it.

One end of my running board frame detached from my Jeep,  no way to reattach it, the other end was welded/rusted on so I had to beat and manhandle it to get it off.

Went to the post office (always annoying at my local branch :/ ), found an original IBM Selectric for $20! Watched Saw 1 and 2, then went bowling. The night is still young though. I'll probably have to buy my roommate a soda or two since he covered bowling for everyone.

Honestly I think it is just a number, kind of like Hungary. Hungary's is 18 but they still serve to 15 year olds. I was debating ordering something harder than beer during dinner tonight but decided not too. Enjoying it while I can before I go back to the States where I will have to wait 5 years

104088-0

This was my "office" today.  At the platform on top.  The blue manlift is a ZX-135.  The ZX is the style of boom, and the 135 is max height to the floor of the platform..  Maxed out, the lift got to within 5 feet of the floor of the platform on the top of the bucket elevator we are tearing down.

104090-1

Sending the platform along with 20 feet of trunking for the bucket elevator at one shot.  This chunk weighed 8300 pounds.  The crane was good for 34,000 pounds where he was making the pick.  Done safely in 8 hours.  That is why I choose to work union.

I am going to Spain, obviously :p And as a second world citizen, I need a visa to anywhere in the first world. On the bright side, I don't need to apply for Indian visa for example.

Today is the last day at my current place of work. YAY
hurray!

Studied for an exam in finance on friday.
Got a small mountain of packages.

Fought with my wifi plans only to realize I didn't really need that extra 8-port switch. (Switch before router = no go)
Made some cables.
Realized they looked nice but didn't work. :(

Got a working superfast wifi and finally a properly working Philips Hue setup! :D

Grilled some chicken.

Very grilled - the best kind :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Unless it's too burnt. Most of the black is a thin surface.

None of the meat is black.
