I know that feeling. I once did around the same amount, but they were all vintage blacks. I was also going to dremel a plate so it would fit, but I couldn't find the dremel. I wish I had 100 clicky whites to desolder, what board did you get them from>

Paid for the Pink 456, its the most I've ever spent on a single object.

 Unless you count school.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Went to the swimming pool, then spent some time in jacuzzi and sauna. Then did a meeting from home. Went shopping, bought sandals and swimming shorts for holidays. Bought Euros.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

I got them from a very old cherry lug-able computer, from 1980.
they are quite nice, I will be saving them for a special project.
I also have a feeling that this lug-able computer is "pre" dolch...
I could be wrong, but it looks exactly like all the other dolch machines I've seen on ebay.

Good for you! :)

I judged the local VW club show today.  MK2 winner was my friend Alex's RWD VR5-T (as seen in PVW, before the longitudinal RWD setup), which also took People's Choice best of show award (again, lol).

Finished installing a stainless agitator in a new slurry tank at work.  Tank capacity is 610,000 gallons.  All that is left is to tear down the scaffold, and double check the alignment for the pumps and the agitator.

Not really.  From the top of the steady bearing pedestal bearing pad to the bottom of the output shaft from the gearbox was only 60 feet.  The pic was taken from the top set of blades.  The blades are 1200 pounds for a set of three.
