In order to stave off the time when There Is No Spoon, I have been gradually collecting spoons (here at work).

Now I have four (4) spoons of two (2) different materials (metal and plastic).

We already have a fork shortage.  I am prepared for the worst (I have a fork too).

Good job.  Spoons are the best utensils.

Come the apocalypse and the end of days, the man with the most spoons will reign over, well, probably not very much actually.

But thanks anyway :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It would have to be a fairly dire pudding to signal the onset of the end of days.

Just finished removing the old ass gold stain on a solid oak table I picked up for $20 on CL.  Initial stripping done with 60 grit followed by 2 passes of 120 grit with water between each pass to raise the grain.  Finish feels good.  Will hit it with 220 tomorrow and start finishing it in black stain.

Yeah, mission style for sure.  As I slowly move away from the Ikea stuff, I will be replacing it with all solid wood mission style furniture (this is my first).  Unfortunately, I was unable to keep the super sharp corners on the wood.  With my 2 year old and another little one in the future, I decided to soften the corners and edges a very small amount.  I still kept the lines didn't totally radius everything, just hit everything with the 120 as I was sanding to slightly round it all out.

I just watched an NWA documentary on tube,  cuz I'm p00r and can't afford to go the pictars..

it says Dre only left because they weren't properly sharing the income, despite Dre doing most of the work.

Some parts of the documentary is voiced by chris rock..  so it seems legit..

Dre was doing most of the work and yes the income wasn't being properly shared, everyone but Eazy (and even in the end) got screwed out of their money.

Suffered through the second day of a cold.

I tried it, tastes pretty good..   but prolly not good for a cold..   Since you're already processing toxins from the sickness,  and alcohol is a toxin..

I watched the ISS fly over my house last night. Was kinda cool.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?
