Huh, besides the usual? I went ziplining. Also tripled my artisan stash in less than 4 hours. Now I'm frantically trying to write mini-essays for my class tomorrow so I know what to do. I have one more thing I'm waiting on to happen, but today's been a good day.

Went to the post office and there was no line! Usually there's only two people behind the counter and a line of 15+
I thought my keycaps that I ordered from gutz a month ago were finally here, but they weren't  :(

Bought myself some roller skates! Will most likely be testing them out this weekend at the rink bustin' the old-school jams.

Drank 2 gallons of water and two 12 ounce cans of Mountain Dew in 12 hours.  Only had to pee once.

Driving an hour to Kansas City soon.

Funny you should mention that, I will be in Kansas City on next Tuesday.

Went and saw Warcraft in 3d.  Was worth the money.  I seriously hope they make more.  It was that good.  Really want to see how they portray The Forsaken and the Tauren.

What?! I jumped a few times, and I screamed twice. It would've been out of control if I wasn't with the girl I liked, lol.

wasn't good unless u played warcraft 1 recently. even then it's a condensed 2 hour retelling of a game much longer than that... it was cool for the novelty factor of being a warcraft movie but wasn't very good as a movie :( you may enjoy it nonetheless though

It's after 2am and I tested this out a little bit ago. Works surprisingly well. I don't have an eye patch, just closed one eye and switched them in different light levels.

I do this all the time, particularly in the winter mornings to save having to turn lights on everywhere.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Cleaned every HHKB keycap individually and the board itself too. Haven't done that since I got it so it was quite dirty underneath the keycaps. Besides that I slept for 12h because I was super tired yesterday and had to wake up at 3am & pick up my girlfriend from a work event.

P.S. Sorry if inappropriate, it just was goooood. Will edit if need to.

Bought a stationbike for my girlfriend this weekend (Think cheap bike for city use) but it needed some work.
Today I replaced some cables and the handlebar tape and made it rideable again. Only thing I forgot is new brake pads...
Anyway, next weekend the old Batavus/Intercycle Champion can ride again. :)

This bell is awesome but I'll have to sand it and respray it some time.

Are drop bars really convenient for everyday use in the city?
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

They were for me when I rode around on a road bike. I avoided a few close calls with cars because of the narrow form factor. OE Schwinn World Sport, damn I miss that bike.

It's what she is used to right now and this one has those extra levers to brake on top. Besides, 90% of the time will be on separate cycling paths so it's unlikely that she will have a run-in with a car.

All right.

I converted my road bike to flat bar for commuting in Moscow. But then again, it was Moscow, so I was playing the Cycle To Work game on hard level.

I think doing most things in Russia are considered the hard level.

Yep, cycling in Moscow might be a little more difficult than cycling in Florida ;)

So cycling in Holland is easy mode?
Absurdly easy.

All right.

I converted my road bike to flat bar for commuting in Moscow. But then again, it was Moscow, so I was playing the Cycle To Work game on hard level.

I think doing most things in Russia are considered the hard level.
Getting plastered is a bit easier there than in most other countries.
