Put a few records up on my wall with the help of some Q record wall mounts.

In the end.. the keyboard's most grand form of existence is as an ethereal bridge between man and machine..    Each depression of the keys, evanescent.. Our transitory thoughts crashing into the web, carving canyons through the internet wasteland such that life may once again flourish..

They're never in any direct sunlight and I won't have the same records up all the time, so it should be fine.

edit: Also, I believe the windows in my room block some of the UV light since they're slightly tinted.

Ah, these minimalistic Swedish rooms
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Hyperglides last forever on cloth pads and are super smooth..

Plastic pads wear down the feet much faster..

hyperglides don't update often.. they pretty much just sell those little round ones, and make bank.   the round ones fit onto any mice and work fine.

Wow... Tp4 went to peasant skool too..

They only taught tp4 how to make soup,  and cut pieces of wood.   THEN one day tp4 got in trouble for eating too much of the soup, because apparently it was for the whole class, but tp4 were hungry so tp4 ate more than half of it..

It would seem Australia has much better basic social services..

Finished up a custom mouse pad, complete with a laser etched logo.  The makerspace I have a membership at has a laser cutter.  I got some time on it today and I think it turned out great.  It is subtle but not so much that it gets lost.  The design is an ambigram set at a 45° angle in the corner so it works with the pad in any orientation.

Good **** dude, will buy a custom mousepad from you in the future. also about that offer on testing a less polished mousepad for you, I think I'm gonna have to turn down the offer now since I don't think I'll finish my cancer treatment in enough time to really warrant bothering you later on for testing it because I figure you'll probably have your system of making them down by then.

I have a video uploading right now to youtube testing the friction between my Cerakote pad, Razer aluminum pad, used white plastic cutting board, and a piece of brushed stainless.

I'm not big on india.. also not big on thailand..  neither places are good vacation spots imho..

jpn is nice, but only if you're there to buy ricecookers, otherwise, it's like usa, just very dense..

mongolia is quite interesting for its culture and people..

china.. the south is too hot and humid, kinnnd of like india..  the northern weather is better, but major cities has the poison smog thing.. hahahhaa

Europe... non metro, it's more hilly than the american rural,  not especially interesting... tiny portions of food.. this is at odds with the american way, more than anything else..

Africa..  this is the next place to go...   though I am held back by the fact that lions might eat me.

Sounds like you've been everywhere or you just have strong opinions about almost every continent. Don't judge Europe on having tiny portions on food, it's probably more in the south. We in Latvia usually have large and nice portions if it's not a slow food Michelin kind of joint.

Sounds like you've been everywhere or you just have strong opinions about almost every continent. Don't judge Europe on having tiny portions on food, it's probably more in the south. We in Latvia usually have large and nice portions if it's not a slow food Michelin kind of joint.

Didn't mean to come off so neg..

I think the packing /unpacking /airports were probably the worst part..

It's mostly why I don't like to go outside in general.. hahahahaha..

Computers FTW.  (Attachment Link)

Taking off from the runway makes all the little things of travel totally worth it in my opinion. Love me some takeoff :) Not a fan of landing tho..

Airport = 3rd /4th worst life experiences..

It's like the worst theme park ride,  with the longest lines EVER.. especially international..

Korean Air is the best airline though...  All the stewardesses are super pretty..   they only hire the pretty ones on Korean Air..

hahahahaha,  Tp4 always flies korean air.

I want to like theme parks but I'm afraid of heights and only really trust aerospace engineers. I guess I played a bit too much Theme park Roller Coaster Tycoon  :)) Vidya games ruined another experience :))
