Thanks Zeal!

Unboxing video to come :)

get an iPhone
I don't use my phone enough that I can justify an iPhone.

oh hehe.  Ok I like android phones too, but only Nexus/stock android. LG is ****.

Agree. Stock Android is great.

had to pop in and say that custom roms are the real way to go ;) also love this thread, this must be the only way to actually get something into norway legally without paying out the ass. I

I know. after having ordered a pok3r paying tax on it and when picking it up at the post office having to pay even more... But  i digress.

I refuse to use anything except iphone, or stock android..  Everything else is just a messs...
I would not call it a mess, but I get why people don't want to spend multiple hours setting their phone up like I did. but for me the iphone is very lackluster, stock android is fine but could use some more options. And anything from android phone makers is utter garbage. so for me being able to have a lightweight rom with all the options I need and run a launcher like apex it's perfect.

I thought this way too until I tried the xiaomi phones

The UI is fine, closer to IOS, theme swapping and all of that.

The nice thing is when I had to get a replacement xiaomi, when I logged into my xiaomi account it was able to transfer all my data over to the replacement with just one button. Including the appdata (not just the apps themselves)

I'm finding the UI clean and it was easy to root.

I haven't tried Xiaomi phones. I'm glad you like it and will look into their phones when I need to buy a new one :) .

I don't mind having to deal with some of the things involved with roms as I like tinkering and messing with settings to see if I like them or not.

I was expressing my opinions and it's good to hear that not every single phone maker makes bad versions of android.

Get a windows phone. They never crash, and there is no (stable) native support for Instagram  ^-^

So I was curious about my favorite flavor and just by chance there was a Wal-Mart I never go to that had them. Luckily it was really close and I bought a couple!

Look what you all did. :(

I hate custom Roms.  They tend to stop working after 6 months which is poopy
I have had mine for more than that and no problems so far.

That's a little more than "a couple." Not that I blame you for purchasing all that.  :))

I think the Xiaomi has gotten pretty good.

the Huawei UI still kinda chokes up a bit..
