Electronic Ballast, it's so much better..  fast and no-buzz.....

wooooo......

So excited..  finally upgraded the kitchen ballasts..

These things are also so light weight, I'm not worried they'd kill me from falling on my head..

I mean, they'd could prolly still kill me because of the sharp edges.. but less likely now..

Got 2 of these puppies.. only $14.45 each.

You guys must be super rich..  Tp4 is epic- p00r

Large led lighting panels cost more than a computer monitor..

I'd rather buy more computer monitors..

and since LEDs have Drivers,  it's kinda like a ballast..

In that case I will have to go ahead and agree that you are living in the past with fluorescents. They'll start buzzing again before you know it.  :(

The place that I work at is retrofitting ours with the led fixtures.  We get them for about 50 a fixture.  From the looks of google, we get a decent discount on them though.

hrm.... well.... T12 bulbs in the kitchen are 4-bux each.. so, x4 bulbs $16, lasts 2 years..

The ballast lasted 20 years.. so .. IDK man.. Seems pretty steep to go LED at home..

Makes sense for workplaces that'd get good savings on electricity, but residential.. doesn't multiply

Yea, but is ur garage always  lit?  prolly still take years and years to recoup the electrical savings.

I got 80 ccfl bulbs in the basement, but because i never go down there.. I'd never see the savings from an LED upgrade..
