As per title. How much pad surface would be required to cover all VRAMs and everything else that needs a pad? (I don't know how much to buy. Would rather not remove the heatsink just to check this. I thought perhaps someone with a GTX 1080/1070 ti has done a pad swap and remembers more or less how much material was required in total.)

well, you're buying them in 100x100mm sheets, and they usually come in 2-5 packs, and you'll probably also need multiple thicknesses.
