I always thought V was the best, why didn't you like it?

It just felt labored, and "they may have fixed it"  , early when I played the ai was wonky.

Don't understand why they don't just teach these games in skool, what could they possibly learn from coloring that is more useful than economic/political manipulation and empire building.

It's pretty clear what the true purpose of most schools are, drone construction.

I don't love 6, I feel like they introduced a number of systems that only really seem to make the game more complicated without a compelling reason behind it. However I was a huuuuge fan of 5 (still play it regularly) so perhaps take my opinion with a grain of salt.
demik will never leave.

Unless he gets banned.

Clearly Tp4 doesn't know anything about fleet composition.

All his beam ships just got pwned...

Might I suggest Stellaris? It's like ES2, but also nothing like ES2.
It depends on if you enjoy broad-scope or micro-management more.

God damn it,  there's such a thing as _OVER_ colonization,  Running out of food, and everyone's all like, we gotta eat Tp4 and be like, we're gonna Mutiny.

Why isn't there a reduce population button.
