On a serious note, i have been trying to practice better handwriting. I love the look of cursive, and if i write quickly it looks neat (think OLD style penmanship ) but i find to "forget" how to make certain letters. Maybe i just need to practice writing the alphabet in cursive
Just look at a cursive alphabet and other' writing and then try to mimic those letters
connecting letters is only done in two ways: from the line, or from the top
For capital letters.... do whatever the **** you want. As long as people know what the letter is it's fine. Capital letters are almost your identity and unique capitals are key in distinguishing your handwriting.
A good practice is to use the copperplate method of writing at a 55 degree angle for upstrokes and horizontal strokes parallel to your lines
Of course you can write upright if you want and it will still look fine
For added unnecessary flare and propriety, upstrokes are thin and light, while downstokes should be thick and heavy
Although really I am spouting a bunch of BS. Ask someone who knows what they are talking about.
